I can just imagine what he said to her off-camera. Both of them seem so stressed and don't seem to be enjoying the race. I know racing is stressful, but some of the other teams seem to be having fun.

I like Leo and Jamel, but fear with the coming attractions that it may be the end of the line for them next week.

I think Travis is the biggest douche and hope he sees himself as one when he watches the episode back.

I wouldn't mind seeing anyone win, as long as it isn't Travis...

I believe they want the rest of the world to view them as human beings who care for people, thus the hugging, kissing, high-fiving, etc., and do not represent a small population called the taliban. Are they going overboard with their demonstrative efforts, perhaps, but I do believe, they believe, they are carrying an extra burden.
I agree with you, so you aren't alone. And I don't necessarily see it as making a spectacle of themselves as much as enjoying themselves. They have worked hard-extra hard-to stay in this race. They have done it with smiles, and stopping to enjoy the sights and peoples. I find them genuine in their racing. I missed the screaming down the halls at 1:00, but if they stayed behind for a bit, to wait for the girls, well, that was their decision.....just as Amy's decision to lay out the musical instrument for Nicole. It worked out for both pairs, luckily.
I was disheartened to hear Travis berate Nicole-even before she started. That wasn't encouraging her at all. And, hopefully, he has realized how hurtful he was all through that leg.

Hilarious and what made it even funnier is that her ex-boyfriend/partner pretty much guessed that she may not even put the basket IN the water!!!!

I'm not the best cook in the world, but I do know that eggs need to be *IN* the water to boil! Was she never in the kitchen when you got ready to color easter eggs?

She was at least smart enough to shake the eggs to see if they were done.

the minute the sign was posted warning you of snakes, and then seeing the snake....I would have been done with the detour and heading to the other option. That is if I got past the first food challenge.

glad Leo and Jamal were safe. whew.

I thought it was funny when the afghanimals were making fun of the way the other two guys were synchronizing their watches for the egg boil.

I raise chickens and boil up a dozen once a week. Always looking for tips. Why do you shake them to see if they are done? I bring them to a boil, shut off the burner and let sit for 20 minutes, rinse and let sit in ice water for a minute. Done....perfect every time.

Finale next week....excited.

Crap...non elimination round...wish the Afghanimals would have gone home. I haven't liked them from the beginning and don't want them to win. I'm rooting for the couple who finally came in first last night, Jason and Amy I think are their names (don't know why I can't remember names this year .) Still like the doctor couple, but not as much after how he acted towards her last week when she couldn't grasp the challenge and ended up getting help from Amy. Thought it was so odd that Marie didn't even know how to boil eggs, wow. Don't want them to win either. Didn't realize next week is the finale already, the season went too fast.

I seriously don't know how I didn't have nightmares about snakes last night. I hate snakes as it is, but cobras?!?! I would have a very hard time doing a gross food challenge, but I might have been able to do that one if I didn't have to look at a tank full of cobras striking the glass while I was doing it. I couldn't even watch the TV half the time that was going on.
