Basic dining plan question/# of days???

We usually fly to Disney, stay 8-10 nights, get dining plan- but then have to fly out early on our last day of waking up at Disney...so we've never had to deal with the full day of dining on our last day at Disney...

We now live with in driving distance. We are driving down on a Thursday at noon. It's a 7 hour drive. We were thinking of driving 5-6 hours, stopping at a hotel and get into Orlando Fri. morning.

We currently are not planning to check into our Disney hotel until Saturday, first thing in the morning (to get our tickets and drop our luggage). We are staying 7 nights, with the stay, play, dine deal...

We will Check out of our hotel on the following Sat. morning and have a FULL day of Disney left after check out. We even got great reservations for a TS that evening.

I should know this, but I don't...I know someone can help me here!!!! When we stay 7 nights- we get 7 TS, 7 CS and 7 snacks for our entire trip, right? Or does it go by the # of days on our tickets? We have 8 day tickets.

We are wondering If we should just add another night on, and keep our tickets at the 8 days. Because, we will be there a full 8 days.

And, yes. I know that the dining plan is good up until midnight of the day you check out of your hotel- I am just wondering how we should go about making sure we aren't paying OOP for meals for when we are on Disney property. I am not worried about the snack credits, we've always had more than enough of those! Just CS and TS meals- another night of hotel at Disney would probably cost less than paying OOP for food for 1 day is what I'm thinking.

It goes by # of nights you are staying. So yes you get 7 QS, TS, and snacks per person. Keep in mind though that some of the nicer restaurants take 2 TS per person.
