Disney Princess Battle Royal

A discussion elsewhere online has lead to my DH and I debating for the last two hours who would win in a Hunger Games style battle royal between Disney Princesses. For simplicity's sake, only official princesses shall be considered. Please feel free to support your choice of winning tribute with detailed responses below.

Merida, hands-down. Archery and survival skills, weapons easily at hand ... no one else stands a chance.

There is no way any Disney princesses would participate in that. They are much too nice and would refuse to fight. They'd take the 'berry' route before hurting another.

Pocahontas, hands down. She's the only one with real life survival skills. The rest are great for spunk and surviving in a normal situtation, but I don't think they could hack it in the hunger games.

I was between Merida and Pocahontas but Merida gets my vote.

This. She can survive in the wild, knows how to hunt, and could likely kick the snot out of any of the other princesses if it ever came down to it.

My first thoughts were Merida then Pocahontas, but then mention of Mulan makes so much sense. She is the only one with specific training!

I'd peg Mulan as a career (trained for it), Pocahontas as Rue (knows the land and how to hide and survive) and Merida as Katniss (good with a bow and knows the woods).

My final 3 are Merida, Mulan, & Pocahontas w/ Pocahontas being the last princess standing.

Merida has the survival & weaponry skills, but she's too emotional & has too much of a temper.

Mulan has the hand-to-hand combat skills, but I'm not sure about her survival skills. Plus, she's sometimes too spontaneous - she acts before she thinks.

Pocahontas has survival skills, she's brave, she's steady & smart, she's strong, & good w/ weapons... plus, she listens to the voices of the wind.

Unless Merida & Mulan team up against Pocahontas, I just don't think either one of them on their own could overcome Pocahontas. And, since I'm not sure that Merida and Mulan could work together long enough to overcome the Indian princess, Pocahontas takes it.

Aurora. She'll find a great hiding spot and sleep through it. When she wakes up she'll find all the other contestants have taken care of eachother.

I chose Mulan.

But really Rapunzel has some magic hair and extreme frying pan skills.

Well obviously none of those Someday My Prince Will Come lay around waiting to be kissed where is the heck is my Fairy Godmother who can wave her wand around and fix this kind of women.....not even worth talking about. They'll be dead in the first minutes.

If the Arena ends up being stuck out in the middle of the Ocean, Ariel could perhaps just grab them and take them all down to the bottom until they suffocate.

Belle might be a long shot because she's crafty and intelligent. She has little in terms of practical skill but she learns quick. She'd be a good candidate to form an alliance with until you need to slit her throat.

Mulan is like one of the Careers. She has the battle skills and it is going to take a bit of luck and good fortune to beat her.

Pochahantas should win but she is all Spirit Guides and Morally Superior. I'm not sure she can play dirty and sometimes those pesky morals and guiding principals kill your chances.

So I'm going to go Merida.

Exactly! Mulan is too impulsive, Pocahontas is too soft, Merida wins.

Sent from me.

I also go with Merida over Mulan & Pocahontas. I think she has a temper but she is also the baby of the group and has more knowledge of weaponry & survival at a younger age. She will grow stronger.

Okay really they are characters - I need to get back to real life

I didn't even consider the magic hair. That would be crucial. And she's definitely plucky!
