Oh the yacht club...it's so darn pretty! And a steakhouse!! Yum! You can't go wrong there, you just can't.

I honestly have never stopped to see him, but I think I may next time.

Noted. Do not wear a dress or skirt on rockn roller coaster. Oops! Looks like it was a fun time though! Also, that girl next to you on tower, that woulda been me. you guys are brave!

Oh now I am intrigued. Can't wait to meet you.

Of all of the thrill ride photos, RnR is my least favorite. I always end looking horrible as the wind is trying to peel my face backwards.
You will have your work cut out for you that first time Dave! If you can get your DD past the initial ascent you may be golden. Good luck with that one!

What you don't like speeding through downtown faux LA with your face flapping in the breeze? Those ride photos are some of the best out there since it starts off so fast.

I always love your picture with Bo. That woman does look like she is having a problem on TOT. Fun picture of you and Em on Rock & Roll.

I'm glad you were able to get a new PP card and find your photos.

Before I forgot, I'll email you in the next day or two and let you know what time we have FP+ for on the 7th at the Magic Kingdom and see if we can coordinate a ride or two after our breakfast together.
From those photos of YC area you can't tell that it was 159 degrees out!

Thanks - Bo's my man. Or rather my faux man. Michael may be jealous to hear that so we'll keep it between us.

Got it! I already messed up since I booked FP+ at AK but sounds like we have a Plan B. Thanks for being flexible. I am looking forward to the 'extra magic Kathy hour' with you and Mark.

I hope the trip went well, I know how those trips can go sometimes.

The heat and humidity can be really brutal in WDW, that's why I don't go after May, or before Oct. as the case may be in the near future. <crossing fingers that it works out>

Pictures with Bo is a must, I know I took pictures with him when we went last but for the life of me I can't seem to find them.

I guess if you are going to avoid a Janet Jackson moment in the future you'll have to match your undies with your dress.

I wore a dress on EE and I had to do some fancy border maneuvering with pp+ to keep people from seeing my legs being exposed.

Did you die of embarrassment standing there looking at your picture? I probably would.

Can't wait to see what you do next.
Camille I'm was so glad to hear that your mom's gall bladder is outta there and she's got some pain relief. Praying that she continues to do better.

Ack! My feet were killing me from so much standing, walking, dancing - just kidding about the dancing! I bought some flats while I was there but those gave me blisters. I couldn't win. At least I made it home with only slight flight delays.

You are a very wise woman to travel during the cooler times of the year. It seems that I forget how brutally hot it can get in August.

I can photoshop you into one of my Bo photos!

for sure! I just wanted to put my sunglasses on and avoid recognition! At least no one taunted me with "I see London, I see France..."

That room looks great. Too bad it didn't have the TV in the sitting area, because that would be a PERFECT room to book for a family. I suppose I could just have my laptop, but I NEED to see what the "must-dos" are according to Stacy!

I like to be organized, but I don't always unpack. It just depends. I think now that I'm dealing with 3 people (Corey can fend for himself- but the girls….) it's harder for me to live out of the suitcase, but it's also a lot to put up!
I know you are curious about the MB but sorry that they don't have purple! I want more color choices too. I think magenta or indigo would be awesome.

Wouldn't you think that they'd put a TV in the sitting room? Guess not. You never know when Stacey will add some must dos so you should always be ready to watch her. Agreed!

I think when my kids were little I didn't bother unpacking either. There were too many of us to keep organized like that so for sanity sake I just left it. I'm obviously deeper in my disorder now than I was then! I just have to stop short of nagging anyone that I'm traveling with to put their stuff away.

Hi Judy!! Thank you. We are excited to travel during the Holidays.

Honestly, I'm just excited to spend time with Em and good friends during this trip. Thanks for your well wishes.

Those early morning breakfasts that require a bit of travel time always seem like such a great idea in theory until you wake up tired in the morning! Goo decision on canceling and taking advantage of the club level offerings instead!

The girl next to you on ToT is hilarious!! She looks like she is really freaking out!

Every girl's worst nightmare...WARDROBE MALFUNCTION!! Obviously the person whose job it is to screen photos needed a little more coffee if they missed that one...
You completely get it with the evening wardrobe! Once I shower and clean up I want to be girly and wear a dress. Especially if we are going to a nicer place for dinner.

Some breakfasts seem like a great idea 180s in advance of the trip but that morning... it's another story! At least we had a plan B for breakfast that day.

The poor girl was not having fun on ToT. I suppose not looking makes it less scary so I fully support her tactic.

Pretty much! If censored, I would have wondered why our photo wasn't displayed and demanded an explanation. Can you imagine if they said, hey lady, we don't need your type around here!

So glad you were able to find your PP pics.

Hahaha so sorry for your wardrobe malfunction! Your hair looks fantastic and windswept if it's any consolation.

Thank you for the kind words on my TR and in case I'm not back here before you leave, have a WONDERFUL trip!!! Enjoy Disney Christmas and your Illuminations Cruise!!!
Hi Courtney! Seriously a great resort! Keep it on your list.

Oh man! If I had known I would have been on the look out for you. I'm going to have to post every photo from our DHS day so you can inspect the photos and see if you are in them! There's only about 259 of them.

Ha ha! The windswept hair.... reminds me of this little gem.

Thank you so much for the warm Thanksgiving wishes. You will be in the best place ever for this holiday with your loved ones. I wish you all the warmest wishes for an awesome trip.

So sorry about the landscaper's wake up call. I'm a light sleeper, but I am awake way before anyone starts work around there.
I know you are an early riser so the horror of my being awakened at 7:30 isn't so bad for your internal alarm clock.

I prefer the DHS ToT to the DCA version. It has a few more scenes. However, the CA version has some great hidden gems after you get off the ride. I'll tell you where the "body" is hidden later.

I believe that Splash Mountain has censors working because some young ladies think it is a good idea to "flash" the camera.
Yeah, big oops!

I try not to intentionally flash anyone....the last time that happened it wasn't my hubby but my brother in law. How could I know that my hubby brought his brother home in his truck when I was in the garage at just that moment when the door went up?

Hi Tasmen! Welcome aboard and I'm so glad that you are here and reading along!

I'm glad the information regarding the sunrise safari was useful. I would definitely book that again! What a great bday trip and experience for your DD. She'd love that.

Steak and Yact Club - it sounds snootier than it is.

You definitely should. He's always got a smile on his face welcoming everyone to the park. (you are talking about Bo right?)

Yes duly noted my friend.

We are pretty brave! Just look at our smiles in that ToT photo! Well, at least mine. Em was pretending she was horrified. Don't let her fool you.

Hi Scott! Me Too! I'm losing track of all the plans for everyone else including my own. I think we only have one overlap park day but I can PM you to narrow down a window of opportunity.

Hmmmm.... funny for you ... it wasn't your underpants showing!

I love that top you had on at yachtsman!! Super cute! What a lovely dinner! I do think one day I’ll have to check it out, but for now, it’s probably on the pricey side, bahah!

Uck….the resort is TOO pretty, also that Mediterranean market sounds interesting!! So glad you were able to get the pp card replaced! That’s lucky and awesome! Also fast pass plus is seriously something that I did enjoy, despite having people complain about it, I don’t think I use fp’s that often anways…Oh no! Wardrobe malfunction! That’s no good…and definitely why I wear shorts under all my dresses/skirts, I’m too frumpy to even try and be a lady in a theme park, bahaha

Yum, dinner looks fantastic at YSH! I think that is so awesome that you keep in touch with certain servers at restaurants so you can let them know when you'll be coming again

I loved that you cropped your photo to still show us! Thank goodness nothing like that has ever happened to me before. Usually it's my hair that always gets in my way and it hides my face. So i'll take hair-in-the-face any day over the upskirt shot!

Hope you have a fantastic Thanksgiving!

Hi Katt! Thanks - the top was Forever 21. It was a nice meal but one day I may stick with appetizers and dessert.

You can be sure that I will do better in the modesty department going forward. Note to self... shorts can be my friend.

Hi Alicia! The server that we know from YSH is the sweetest man. He makes us feel so welcome.

Ah yes, glad to share the G rated version of the ride photo. Thank goodness for cropping tools.

Wednesday August 21, 2013: Day 6, Part 2

Following RnRC we then walked around aimlessly since our lunch ADR was getting close. We went into one of the stores and browsed their Halloweentime stuff. Such fun HM inspired items.

We were interested in tombstones...

Not sure why we went back up Hollywood Blvd but this next photo was right there in that sequence so we'll go with it.

As we were walking towards our lunch destination, we saw a family of duckies! One of the little critters was curious and checked out my toes. He must have thought they were duck chow because he started to nibble on my big toe which resulted in the kind of giggly laughter that is reserved for when a puppy won’t stop licking you – it tickled!

Perhaps my photo is blurry since I was giggling

Our lunch was at 50’s Prime Time Café which included landing a TV table, eating off the kids menu, and finding out that our waitress trained with the guy who had the distinction of being our server for the all-time scariest meal in all of WDW last year. You can read all about it here. Even if you are not into dining reviews you may want to take a peek because there is a bonus treat of a link to this infamous dinner last year. It’s all connected.. you’ll see.

Anyone familiar with Bachelor Father??

Following lunch we were FINALLY going to ride TSMM due to a FP+ reservation. Seeing as how stand-by was 70 minutes I will declare this the MOST VALUABLE FP+ reservation for the entire trip. Seriously, we saved about an hour by planning ahead.

Within 10 minutes we were loaded into our Bo Peep car where Em proceeded to not only score higher but aim more accurately. Apparently we both won a beaver as the prize. What’s that about?? Do you get a different animal if you score higher? Obviously I wouldn’t know.

Stopping here since from past experience this late at night the Boards go night night and I lose my posts.

Continued Next Post

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family as well!

I know you are just days away from returning to the world, so I hope you have another super fabulous trip. I look forward to hearing all about it.

That HM themed merchandise is really cute.

Seems like I am behind on your TR again. I can't believe you are 70 pages into this TR. WOW. It is just flying!

Hope to get caught up properly over the T-giving weekend!
