Also, congrats on having your awesome thread being noticed!! I love your tr's so much, so I'm quite happy for you getting this recognition!

AKL CL offerings look so good every time! I am so tempted!

I love AK! Sounds like you guys had such an enjoyable time!

I love your bend and snap cruise picture! That's so funny that's how they posed you!

You never know with those traffic lights at DHS! Depending on who is around depends on if you have to pay attention! While I've never been ticketed for running the stop, I HAVE been ticketed for illegal stroller parking!
Thank you so much Kimmy for your kind words. Truly!

I'm a fan of any CL - food, drinks, and chocolate on your pillow at night, what's not to love!

Ahh the bend and snap! That was a pose yourself photo. I think we were getting silly and that was one of the crazy ones.

Ha ha! You have me picturing that Streetmosphere policeman dude (Officer ?? forget his name) issuing citations for walking while on red! You are so funny!

Thanks khaleesi! Random photos and me, we just go together so well.

Your DisMeet with Lori looks like lots of fun! Can't wait til December to hang our for more than a few hours!

AK is a fun park with lots to do outside of the rides! I skipped Nemo this trip but its a great show! I even love the bird show!

DHS EMH looked fun as well! I didn't know ToT was a fav of yours! I only ride it if someone pulls me to it lol. I need someone to talk to in line or I get palpitations!
Welcome back Paula! You've had so many great updates on the live dining thread! I agree about December and it will be great to meet Hunter. Poor guy, he'll be surrounded by so many Disney fanatics, I hope he survives.

The bird show at AK we've never seen. I'm not a bird fan but I suppose it is one of those attractions that exceeds expectations.

Definitely ToT is my all time favorite! I don't want you to have palpitations so if I can talk you into going on it I'm never short on words so we can chat the wait away.

Your Nemo pics are good.
Glad you beat the rain this time.
Dismeet meals are so fun.
HS looks not so crowded. Nice TOT pic.
Great updates and pics.
Hi Scott!

Really? You need more free time to watch movies.

I wonder too... I thought he was new but maybe not.

Thanks - I definitely don't have photos as good as some of yours though. Especially that photo of Crescent Lake from BC at night. That was great!

Definitely made it to the bus dry the second time.

Glad you are caught up.

Um… stinks to get bad PP pictures! Seriously! Shouldn't there be someone making sure that the really bad ones are magically gone before you see them!?

Love your ride photos…

Glad you got some love from Bo! Wouldn't be a day at HS without seeing your sweetheart!

I've only seen the Gangsta GMR that I remember! I vaguely remember riding it in HS… but… yeah, I have no idea what version I saw back then!
No worries... I rarely remember all that I want to say when I get caught up so that's fine.

You know me and Bo - I can't pass up a photo op with the guy!

Anther Diser and another missed bank robbery scene. It's a conspiracy I tell ya!

Wasn't up to date on the frump reports either and I'm quite sure I saw both of you more than once and jut thought, familiar face without being able to pin point exactly why/where.
Hi Erin! I'm glad that you are here and reading along! I've seen your posts around the boards so I'm thrilled that you have read through this TR!

Kristen had a busy summer and was at DL before spending most of the month of August at WDW. Lucky young lady for sure!

That's funny that you can see someone and think where have I seen them and then realize that you've seen their photo! Em is usually better about connecting faces to names.

Thanks again for joining!

Ahhh The Great Movie ride.... We haven't been on this in ages! I think the alien scene would freak my kids out... It's great to see all the pictures - kind of a "oh I remember that...."

Wow DVC at 21- very impressive! And like others have said I'm surprised you don't own DVC as well!! However your comment in needing 900 (maybe more!!) points may be accurate... We blow through ours too quick.

Where are you staying in Dec?

great update! And nice to see Mr. Bob get some attention ... he's normally just so flat

sorry you got the gangster scene again ... I was way too excited our last trip when we got the cowboy scene! (cheap plus/spoiler/tease for my TR)

Guess I didn't have my DISer card displayed prominently enough so they let me slip through

Whew! I had a lot of catching up to do! Perfect for a lazy Sunday morning!!

First and foremost, hope that you were able to enjoy some quality time with your son home on leave and many thanks to him and your entire family for your service!

Holy cow, sister! Thread of the month!?!!!! That is pretty darn cool. And very well deserved!

I had so many things to comment on and now I'm forgetting.

You are definitely giving me that "itch" to go back to AKL. So beautiful!

So nice of you to help the scooter lady. I encountered some folks with a disabled scooter this past trip too. Do they not have a power meter or something to indicate when they need "juice"?

I skimmed the chatter so someone may have already reported this but I believe Bamboo has been retired...

So glad you were able to reschedule your Illuminations Cruise. Another item on my bucket list for sure!

I am all the way back to your wonderful DL DIS meet with Lori (vettegirl)- your descriptions and pictures are definitely whetting my appetite for my family's future trip and our meeting with you!

Great pictures from Nemo! We have only seen this amazing staging once. The show is visually stunning, but I don't think the music does much for me.

What an awesome interaction with Tigger!

That was so kind of you to help the woman in the scooter- doesn't surprise me one bit that you offered her the needed assistance. I'm just glad that this good deed was not "rewarded" with a downpour.

What a neat meet at GF Café. I read through the update, but now I need to go back to read the dining review.

Uhhh yeah! The alien scene freaked me out the first time!

You would think huh? For as much as we stay in villas every trip.... Every time we walk by the DVC kiosk at DL or WDW I have a little voice that says buy me! I'm scared with the math for 900 points! And then annual maintenance dues for that.

We'll be at BWV and BLT (yeah, two villas) in Dec.

Ha Ha! Yes, he's always got that silly grin.

I need to know your secrets for getting the bank robbery scene! (other than you were an incognito Diser!) I'm glad you trust me with your spoiler alert.

Thanks so much regarding your kind comments for our son and his service.

Awww thank you.... it's really all because of Disers like you who would even take the time to spend a lazy Sunday morning reading this. Seriously, thank you!

I know what you mean, I have all sorts of comments while I'm reading but when I actually post, poof, there they go!

Poor stranded scooter people. That's got to be frustrating - especially if no power meter to even know.

Darn! Bamboo was pretty interesting.

I'm glad you are caught up. Thanks again for following along.

Hi Sue! I'm so glad that you are reading and following along. Welcome!

There were probably 20 more breakfast options for which I didn't take a photo! Definitely no shortage of choices. And those characters are pretty fabulous too!

Thanks Erin! Keep in mind I have complete control over the photos that are included so most "bad" ones are not in my TR!! It's good to have creative control!

Ahhh I think 5 million people follow her awesome and EPIC TRs. If you ever see us around, please, please, please say hi!! If you follow Jess' friend Kristen's (another frump gal) reviews - we've run into her several times in the parks. I love when that randomly happens.

I must admit that I've made it to your TR link in your signature and read through your background (those parents are lucky to have you) but I have not had time to comment so please forgive my stealth reading.

Thanks again for reading!

Hi Dee! No worries... I'm hopelessly behind with so many TRs/DRs.

He-Vine will be our unofficial name for Mr. Bamboo. I think that is most appropriate.

I agree, I picture Rob sitting at the bus stop with Stacey TV and waving the bus' on ... no need to stop here, Stacey's playing. It could happen.

I'll send you some DL stuff by the end of the week. I'm definitely excited about July as well!!

Agreed. Nemo isn't about the music but the voice actors are really great.

This time the rain held off just long enough for us to reach the safe zone. Glad that I could help the poor lady.

Thanks for getting caught up. It is always good to see you here. Now for me to do the same with yours since I think I've missed an update.

Intermission with some pre-trip updates and some Disneyland photos

Before I get to the next installment I wanted to share a few plans for our next trip which is about 30 days away.

Having concluded day 4 I'm over a quarter of the way through. Thanks for hanging in there as this is moving at an astounding pace that should conclude this sometime in 2015! Seriously, fellow Disers KatMark and D~ have already concluded their TRs and they were there during my dates. On a positive note, my DR is nearing the end of Day 7 so if you want a preview of what's to come including my Monsieur Paul review with Philippe drop by that thread.

About those plans....

Dates: Em and I will be traveling to WDW from 12/5 through 12/15.

Resorts: 8 nights BWV and 2 nights BLT 1 bedroom (Lake View)

Parties/Events/Dining: Our very first trip during the Holiday season will include a MVMCP, 2 Candle light processional dining reservations, an Illuminations cruise, a ladies afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian, an Epcot bar crawl day, and our first return dinner at California Grill since the re-furb. We also have over a dozen dining events and meet ups with a group of ladies (and some hubbys and boyfriends) from the dining boards.

Dismeets: Besides meeting up with 7 or 8 of the ladies from the dining boards, we have several other Dismeets planned.

I'm excited to meet back up with Kathy (KatMark) and even have breakfast together. They kindly offered to be our car pool buddies so we don't have to rely on Disney transportation early in the morning. Very valuable offer indeed!

Another exciting and much anticipated meet up is with Rob (DisneyKid4Life)! Look for some plans for attractions that overlap as well as viewing the Osborn Lights for the first time for us and perhaps a Fantasmic together!

Scott: I'm definitely looking to meet up since I owe you a cocktail. Still not sure which day our paths will cross but we'll make this work.

There are a couple other possible Diser meet ups that are in the tentative stages so look for more to follow.

Unfortunately, our dates don't synch with some Disers that I really looked forward to meeting but hopefully I'll meet Goofy4Prez (Bob) and Wood Nymph another time. (And a whole bunch of other Disers that will be attending the MVMCP on the 3rd. Cynthia (eandesmom) will be there later in the month for a NYE trip! (That should be fun.) I know there are others that I'm forgetting at the moment so my apologies!

After being on the phone with technical support this morning for over an hour awaiting resolution for linking our APs to our Magic Bands I was able to finally schedule some FP+ reservations. Although after all that, it said that for my first day in the parks I already had FP+ reservations. Really? How did that happen when I didn't even have my new AP linked to my reservation. Geez!

We were thrilled to see Disney mail yesterday. Apparently Disney wants my help in testing their MBs. I honestly can tell them what I think already.... And those ME luggage tags - do they really think that I'll only bring one bag with me? They obviously don't know my packing habits.

Since most intermissions involve some form of West coast Disney fun, I wanted to share a few photos of Disneyland park that have started to include Christmas overlay. It was not completely decked out but as of Saturday you could see "snow" on Sleeping Beauty's castle and some decorative garland and ribbons throughout the park.

Here's some photos. (Redundant for those of my Facebook pals.)

We spied the Christmas tree back stage:

Space Mountain:

For anyone curious, my friend and Em are flashing the Oregon Ducks symbol

Em made a friend with my girlfriend's grand-daughter:

Back to my regularly scheduled TR updates next where day 5 will bring our second resort change.

Next TR Installment

First off- NICE TOP THREAD OF THE MONTH BADGE!!!!

That is some serious profile BLING!

Once again, you have some fantastic plans for your upcoming DW trip. Amazing meets (and probably some surprise ones), awesome dining I'm sure, great resorts, a Pah-ty and a Cruise.

December should be an interesting trip!

Love your pics from DL! I was considering a trip in 2 weeks but am thinking it's probably not a good idea with WDW coming up again! (If I get a cheap hotel room it may still be an option though!)

I never even knew they had a "Thread of the Month". Congratulations!!

Love your new profile banner! And loved the intermission! Soooo jealous that you have a Christmas trip - Some day I VOW to go during the holidays!

You need to make a post and tally up all of your Dismeets - I am SURE you'd blow us all out of the running!

The plans sound awesome! Bummer that the website is still acting screwy - I was hoping, by the time I need to make ADRs for our next trip that all would be running smoothly - only 100+ days until that date and I am starting to get nervous.

Loved the DL photos! And your friend's dd is just precious! Alli had no hair - just like her - for the longest time.

Looking forward to your next update Brenda!

OK, not going to lie, you both made me laugh A LOT on that one. AND... yeah it's probably true.

Hehe, well slow and steady wins the race Brenda, so if this is still going in 2015, that means you win!!

I feel like I got a sneak peak at all your travel plans!! YAY!

Obviously you are going to LOVE the Christmas season at WDW. It's seriously off the chain. And don't forget about the Castle Dream Lights on Cinderella Castle.

And OF COURSE I am super duper insanely excited for our get togethers. I can't wait!

Aww Disneyland always decorates so nicely, maybe even more than Magic Kingdom. So pretty.

And Em and the little girl... too precious!
