Your DH is a smart man. Driving at night is the best way to go.

I work with an RFID system everyday at work and I'm not crazy at all about Disney making everything RFID for that very reason. When it works, it is wonderful. When it screws up, it is a pain in the butt.

I love TT too. I love the Tronness of the revamp, and the post show is killer. Miss the story of the old one though.

I had nachos too on this trip. Wish I had someone to share them with.

That's a bummer you had cup issues. I bought one on this trip b/c I like the pretty purple color. Since I don't do the dining plan or drink sodas I don't have a dog in the fight in this whole RFID mug thing. I do like that if I want the mug for a souvenir that it will only cost me $9 instead of $15 like it used to.

Glad you arrived safe and sound. The villa is beautiful.

Yay for an early arrival and a trip into Epcot to start off the trip.

You are really off to a great start. The weather looks awesome!

lopsided or not, you can't deny it looks decidedly female

Again, this man needs no sleep. He finds amusement in base things. As do I. We are classy like that.

We were all wondering whose ticket was going to turn the Mickey Head blue. It was very random. Different person every day.

Truth. She is hilarious.

So the big question is Beach Club or Bay Lake???

We had this discussion, actually. I would say Bay Lake because it has a sleeper chair and DS does not like sleeping with DD. It also has two FULL bathrooms. DD would chose Beach Blub for the pool. Which was REALLY awesome. I love them both !!

I love TT too. I love the Tronness of the revamp, and the post show is killer. Miss the story of the old one though.

I think the new stuff is cool. I just don't think the ride track is as fun.

For realz. Those things are huge.

I didn't know they were cheaper. Huh, ;earn something new everyday, yo.

I love that Epcot was so close. It would the most ideal location to stay

It may look pretty, but it was VERY hot. We were fine with it, though. It was expected !!

Day 1 – Part 4 – Dismeet !!

We eventually made it over to the campfire area and greeting and hugs were exchanged all around. I gave out gifts and asked DH to take some photos. He took this

No honey !! Take pictures of US !!

This is Meg and her mother Melissa – and me

I think we caught Melissa mid-sentence. Haha.

Next up – Tammy and I

And then Tammy, Colleen and I

And saving the best for last – Me and my bestie Lauren. We have been friends since we were twelve years old. She is one of the MAIN reasons I love Disney so much.

One of the little boys took his red crayon and started drawing on the big movie screen. Oops !! Colleen fussed at him to stop and he was like “but I’m making art here!” He thought that big white screen was his art board. I hope they were able to get it off. It was down at the bottom, so you had to look to really see it. But it was funny.

We played Disney trivia for a short time and then it started to rain, so they closed the campfire down. We weren’t ready to leave so we went over to Tammy’s camper which was set up very close by.

Tammy and her family got a great price for this camper. She and her handy husband were able to transform it into the Mickey Mobile. Here is a link to her Pinterest page that shows you what it looks like inside.

http://pinterest.com/tammycaison/our...el-trailer-rv/

It is so awesome.

We stayed and chatted for quite a while and the kids played in the rain.

Tammy got some photos of all of them together.

It was hard to get them to all look at the camera at the same time.

It was a great night and it was so awesome to see everyone. It was a bummer that it rained, but that didn’t stop us from having fun. We tried to reconnect again during the trip, but everyone was just in different directions and Colleen had to leave the next day.

After a couple of hours, we rounded up the kids and headed back to the Beach Club for a shower and some rest.

DH went out to smoke a stinky cigar and got some nighttime photos.

And then we went to sleep. A great first day !!

What a fun evening it looks like you all had. The kids sure seem to hit it off. And how sweet of you to bring gifts.

Tammy's camper is awesome.

Hubby does the smelly cigar thing...bt he waits until we get to Marco Island and goes down to the dock and makes the fish suffer.

Yes, we tried to get together again - especially for the kids - but we never were able to manage it.

It is awesome !! So much fun !!

Mine gets the nastiest smelling ones and they are expensive, too. He is pretty considerate about it. He was bummed to find out he can't smoke them on the veranda when we take our cruise. I'm fine with it though. They stink up the cabin even when he is outside.

Ha! Leave it to your DH to take a selfie. Nice job!

Uh oh. Big white screen + red crayon = art. He's exactly right.

Awesome that you guys were all able to meet up. Sounds like you had a great time.

Har, har - he thinks he is so funny.

He was just coloring away. I wonder if they noticed or were able to remove it. Oops !!

Looks like a good time at Fort Wilderness. I need to get over there to check out the activities they offer one of these days.
