I agree......he has been there a long time and still doesn't get good people.
How do they decide? I wish it was just always a random draw.

I thought for sure Derek would get Elizabeth Berkley. But, I guess she's too tall for him.

Did you see this? http://celebritybabies.people.com/20...g-first-child/

There’s a big reason why Anna Trebunskaya isn’t joining the cast of the new season of Dancing with the Stars — she’s expecting.

The reality show star, 32, is four months pregnant with her first child, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

Trebunskaya – who split from her husband of nine years, fellow DWTS pro Jonathan Roberts, last October — hasn’t revealed the name of the baby’s father.

The Russian dancer isn’t letting her pregnancy slow her down — she took to the stage with Dmitry Chaplin as one of the performers in Ballroom With a Twist in Ogunquit, Maine, last week.

Instagramming a photo in front of the billboard, she wrote, “Would never [have] thought that this situation would be in my life…#feelingblessed for the experience and opportunity.”

Valerie Harper was an interesting choice considering she has stage 4 brain cancer. I wish her many, many days on this earth and hope she does well and most importantly enjoys the experience.

Leah had a very public falling out with the "church" so I doubt she will be doing any recruiting. In fact, she has been trying to get her friends to also leave.

If you re-read what I wrote, I said that he won't be recruited into Scientology.

Oh my lord. Sorry! Sleep has not been all that good the last few nights because the new kitten doesn't seem to understand that it is not play time then.

Man, I feel silly....

Snooki & Sasha Farber (newbie pro dancer)
I'm not a big fan of Snooki's so maybe this will give me a chance to like her.

KeyShawn & Sharna Burgess
I have no idea who KeyShawn is, but football players tend to do well on DTWS.

Valerie Harper & Tristan MacManus
Poor Tristen. As much as I like Valerie Harper, why can't he pull a good partner?

Brant Daugherty & Peta Murgatroyd
Brant will guarantee that my DD watches this season! What a cutie.

Christina Milian & Mark Ballas
She is so tiny! She is a performer and she did a movie about being a cheerleader. She seems right up Mark's alley.

Bill Nye & Tyne Stecklein (newbie pro dancer)
Woot! Woot! Love me some Bill Nye. BUT, I think he'll be gone very early.

Elizabeth Berkley & Val Chmerkovskiy
There are going to make a STUNNING couple. She is definately the season's "ringer". According to IMDB: "When Elizabeth was 5, her parents enrolled her at Detroit Dance Company. Loving dance, young Elizabeth began to take part in several ballets, including "Swan Lake" and, in 1983, she starred in some musicals (sometimes singing in Italian)."

Corbin Bleu & Karina Smirnoff
The male "ringer" on the show. According to IMDB: "Born: February 21, 1989 in Brooklyn, New York, Corbin Bleu followed in his father's footsteps and began appearing in television commercials at the age two, for products such as Life cereal, Bounty, Hasbro, and Nabisco. It was at that time he also discovered his love for dance when he began taking jazz and ballet classes, usually the only boy in the class. {snip} Corbin also continued dancing, eventually becoming one of the first students at the prestigious Debbie Allen Dance Academy.

Amber Riley & Derek Hough
Part of me would like to say FINALLY! Derek did not get the ringer or the hot skinny chick on the show. But the partner he did get has a LOT of potential. Amber has the professional performer's work ethic and she has a huge personality that will shine through. I think it will be an interesting season for him and finally a challenge.

Bill Engvall & Emma Slater (newbie pro dancer)
I had to look this guy up. I know nothing about him except that a 56 year old man will have a heck of a time keeping up with the rest of the cast.

Jack Osbourne & Cheryl Burke
I think Cheryl has her work cut out for her. Jack has MS and is blind in one eye. He seems like a fighter, but I'm not sure if he is up to the challenge.

Leah Remini & Tony Dovolani
I don't know much about her. I really like Tony so I hope she's OK.

Science is definitely cool !!! I am a high school science teacher. About 5 or 6 years ago I randomly met Bill Nye at a conference. I struck up a conversation with him like I might with someone I"m standing in line with at a Disney ride. I'm pretty laid back and if you don't want to talk I can take a hint. He talked, but lets just say :

I"m definitely not rooting for Bill Nye.

Granted there are 2 sides to every story and everyone is entitled to a bad day. However I am no longer a fan of the guy.

Having said that I still use his video clips in my classes because they are well done and entertaining. I am a fan of his work, just not of the personality that he showed me on that day.

That really sucks. Especially if you admired that person.
