We booked our flights last year using last minute travel in cyber Monday, we saved quite a bit. I would recommend keeping your eyes out and looking around thanksgiving for any deals.

Keep looking!!! We are flying FNT to MCO (nonstop) and we booked at $978 for 4 RT. It has gone down to $775 and we got credits for it.

Hi-I'm in Chicago and finding the same issue. I normally pay no more then $250 per person and I'm looking now for a trip in late February and the flights are $330 each. Can't decide if I should book or wait. It is so frustrating because the flights are so high. If it continues people aren't going to be able to afford to fly anymore. I looked at Early Dec and mid Jan just to see if it would go down since that is between the 3 and 4 month mark and December was more $ (this is early Dec) but Jan was about $50 less per ticket. I just hope it comes down. Planning on surprising my son and daughter and going to Disney for their birthdays. ;-)

I'm still trying to find a decent price for travel this December! I was all set to drive but we lose two days so it would be nice to fly. So far I've found $684.20 for two from Dallas on Southwest to be the best unless I count Spirit and I'd rather not deal with them.

I'm a bit on the ledge myself right now.

I have been tracking for our may 2014 cruise but most of the airlines like Jet blue, and Southwest have not released flights past April yet. We plan on flying Delta since we have the points, but I am hoping once more airlines release flights, the price will start to drop. We still probably won't book until around January anyway.

We're in the same boat. We fly every year from Pittsburgh to Florida, typically the gulf coast but this year it's Orlando. In the past 2 years I'm finding that anything between $300 and $350 RT per person is a good deal. So $1,200-$1,500 for us total all said and done. It sucks but oh well, can't do anything about it.

I usually book about 3 months but I started keeping an eye on prices at about 5 months out.

I always book on a Tuesday or a Wednesday morning, very early. Because it is very well known that the airlines like to hike the prices during and before the upcoming weekend.

My friend and I each booked for 260 round trip from Buffalo to MCO for 02/28/2013-03/05/2013.

We just booked last minute 295 round trip from Buffalo to MCO 10/10/2013-10/21/2023.
