Profits

You have to look at big picture. DCL wants a % of profit for investment. We all know it is high but its is a total marketing package. Operating expenses are far less operating out of PC. So much so that three ships will sail out of PC for 5 months. Total on Board for DCL max is 14000. So how do you reach that number and keep reaching it with the min amount of expenses and a return on investment that keeps stock holders happy.

I am going to tell you it is not done sailing out of NY.

It was also not done sailing out of Galveston Tx. Jan 2014 is the end for that port.

Their are so many factors that go into making the whole thing profitable it is unbelivable.

Their are 10 to 13 new ship coming off the ways in the next two years.
Last one Royal Princess. 985 million. It will operate out of Ft L starting in Nov.

I agree - we thought the prices were reasonable. That was the great thing for us UK cruisers though - cheaper airfare.

I continue to officially wish for more cruises out of Texas. After four in a little over a year, we'll miss them while they're gone!

I have 2 opinions
We had tried usual things to keep them away, including something like coyote urine, it is sold in hardware stores by us

But i don't see the Fantasy or Dream leaving PC anytime soon.
I didn't think so. We were on the EBTA and had originally booked DCl's first Med cruise, so they would have been B2B. After I looked around at other cruise line's prices, I canceled Disney's Med cruise. IMO they wanted too much for what they were offering.
