Might have to change Sept trip

Husband's work schedule has changed a bit and we may need to postpone our Sept trip (paid in full, great ADRs etc). Trying to decide between Oct 25th to 30th or Nov 15th to 20th. Staying at WL. As of tonight, WL is available for those dates with free dining ( but costs a little more than Sept trip).
Can anyone recommend one month over the other? Weather, crowds etc?Might do MNSSHP or MVMCP, but wouldn't factor either of those into decision. Kids would be happy with either. Also, took a quick look for ADRs for both times and slim pickins compared to what I currently booked for Sept. any hope snagging some decent reservations closer to trip time? Also, when do Christmas decorations go up?
Thank you for any insight. Greatly appreciated.

Christmas decorations will mostly be up by Nov. 9th when MVMCP starts and the Osbourne Lights start. Personally I would chose the November dates (which is exactly what I did (11/13-11/20). I'm sorry your dates didn't work out and that you lost all your ADRs. That stinks. There were still a lot of ADRs left when I checked the November dates, but you may have to switch your park days around.

We are going in Nov. this year, but have been there for halloween and christmas in the past. They are both wonderful times to be there and very similar crowds. The wilderness lodge is beautiful at Xmas. We really love Oct though. I guess I am no help. What I will say is both times are great and you can't make a bad choice. Also I think these choices are better than Sept. IMHO. Sept is hot!!! And if you wait till Oct & Nov. you may be FP+ candidate.

Sorry to hear your Sept dates didn't work out, but Christmas time is a great time of year to go. I would definitely choose your November dates. We were in Disney at that time in 2009 and the crowds were low, MVMCP and the Osborne Lights were up and running (I think the start date for both this year is 11/8) Epcot should begin decorating by then too (Holidays Around the World doesn't officially start until the Friday after Thanksgiving though). The decorations at AK were also up by mid-November.

The weather is great too at that time of year. It does get a little chilly at night though, so make sure you bring sweatshirts/light jackets.

As the PP stated, Sept is very hot so you will have better weather in October or November.

Thank you all for your insight. I changed the reservation to November. flights etc seemed to work better then. Excited to try MVMCP and was just able to book the Wishes Dessert Party, so things are looking up! Thanks again. Actually won't mind missing September's humidity!
