Are magic bands waterproof?

Wondered if you can wear them whilst swimming in the resort pool. Would rather that than leave them unattended somewhere...

Yes they are waterproof. We have had them in the pool and the shower and they still work great.

Yes, as the previous posters said, MagicBands are waterproof. I even wore mine to Typhoon Lagoon... in the wave pool and on the water slides! My band also never fell off, even in those rough conditions.

Yes, we found that MagicBands stay on very securely. I never worried about mine coming off. Just make sure you have it adjusted so it does not slip over your hand and you should have no issues.

There was a report on this board last week from a Mom whose young son lost his MB at one of the WDW water parks.
Slipped off in the water.

I did see someone post last week that they are waterproof BUT they do not float. They said there were a few at the bottom of their resort pool I believe.
