WDW, Dec. 15th-20th crowds

A little less than three months out now, and I'm still a bit worried about crowd levels. Everything I've read says that the surge will be from Dec. 20th through New Years. Somebody please reassure me that the crowds won't be too terrible when we'll be there.

We went Dec 14-20 last year and the crowds were not bad at all.

We followed Easywdw crowd calendar advice and hit the most recommended parks. No problems at all and everything went smoothly.

On our last day (I think it was Dec 20), MK was not recommended but we really wanted to end the trip with MK. The crowds were so much bigger than we had experienced the entire trip. I contribute that to it being a non-recommended park and because it was the closest date to Christmas. My bf and I were both amazed at how busy it was, and even more impressed with Easywdw recommendations.

You will be fine. Follow Easywdw advice and have in your mind a rough game plan for the must do-rides. Honestly, we did everything we wanted (which was pretty much all rides) and even attractions I didn't think we'd have time for.

We're going to Disney at that same time as well. Arriving on the 13th (so just avoiding Pop Warner!) and leaving on the 21st.

There was actually a thread over the weekend with a poll asking when Christmas break was for most kids - it appeared that I was the only one on the poll who was out for Christmas break before the 20th. It seems like kids usually get out of school earlier than that, but I guess with Thanksgiving being so late this year that is impacting Christmas break.

I'm hoping it won't be too bad.

Thanks for the votes of confidence. We specifically chose our dates in hope of missing the crazy crowds.
