Flying fish on the Boardwalk is very good but a signature so is a bit pricey. If not on the DDP, the restaurants at the Swan and Dolphin are good (Shula's, Il Mulino, etc....) and within walking distance. If you have a park ticket for that day, the Epcot restaurants are also within easy walking distance.

If you're looking for the best cuisine, probably Flying Fish, Il Mulino, Bluezoo, Shula's or Kimonos if you like sushi (only Flying Fish is on the dining plan.)

If you're looking to keep the price down, there's Kouzzina which is just a few yards from Jellyrolls.

There's also Big River Grill right next door to Jellyrolls, Not sure if you would consider a brewpub to be a "date place."

If you are looking for a romantic setting try bluezoo, Il Mulino, or Shula's. If you want to catch the game try ESPN ZONE

Depending on your mood, another vote for Flying Fish - we did apps & dessert & it was amazing. We also like Captain's Grille or Beaches & Cream at Yacht/ Beach. All walking distance.

My top picks, in order: bluezoo, Il Mulino, Kimonos, Flying Fish, Shulas, Yachtsman, Big River Grille. I'm not a huge fan of the other choices.

I took 8 girlfriends to Big River Grille & Brewing Works for dinner there last year before we had our girls night out at Jellyrolls. (We were in Orlando for a week-long dragon boat training camp)

We had the best service, food was outstanding, my friends all loved their beers and when we were finished, Jellyrolls was 1 minute away!
My vote would be Big River Grille. And if you want, they have Boardwalk seating outside. We had a beautiful night so we sat outside. All the ladies loved it!

Thanks everyone! I think I'm gonna go with Big River Grill. we're on the ddp so the others, though some look amazing, just don't fit in our dining plan. Plus my gal likes beer.. I know, what a dream gal huh? lol

Every restaurant gets bad reviews on here.

We've eaten 3 or 4 times at Big River Grille and we've enjoyed every time.
