Tried, but it's not able to pull up the dining reservations at this time. Okay. BUT I looked at the resort reservations details and noticed that in Room Category Type is listed "Garden View" and we booked Standard View. Do you think that means they upgraded us to a Garden View?

It would be nice...we'll be on the plane this time tomorrow!!

I thought it was a mistake, but when it happened again, I realized it must change when they have assigned your room. Of course, I have no proof of this, just sharing my experience. Good luck! We are checking in tomorrow too - and yes, before you ask, my category is unchanged
Just curious did you guys check in online?

Thanks!

It's there! I was messing around with MDE after dinner, and the option to select FP+ was there! No MB yet, but at least I feel like I'm getting close! Woo hoo! Thanks for the reassurances, everyone!

Yes I did, I always do and it's always worked out well for us, room ready and gotten our requests.

No, we did not do online check-in. I remember it being quiet the two times we were upgraded, and I know the BC wasn't full, maybe that's the reason? Both times we had booked non CL water view.

Got our Magic Bands for YC today! We're checking in next Saturday. I thought that was funny because we're staying next Friday at POP and got the invite for the MB too and ordered those first and they still haven't shipped and our YC ones were ordered about an hour after that and we already have them!

Does anyone know if the old, blue H20 products are still available anywhere? Have you seen them? That is my ultimate "Beach Club smell" stuff, use it all the time but I'm out. I'm sure I can find it online someplace, but just love getting in the Marketplace.

I suppose I can find out these answers when I check in TOMORROW but I just can't wait.

Dee, do you need any pictures?

They sell the full size blue H20 in the Marketplace

This morning conservation was how I was a "big meaning" when he asked if we were leaving for Disney today. I told him no tomorrow morning so I have lost my title of the "big boss" to "big meaning".

Last year we stayed at GF and were spooked I think. It was nice having a large balcony and everything being compact.

It won't be long now. Have fun

Thanks Dee for all your hard work here.

Quick answer: A garden view will NOT be a view of a parking lot. It will be a view of something green ... although it definitely could be dense woods and no garden. A true description of the garden view at the BC would be: "View of Something Green that is not a roof."

Hope everybody is having a wonderful time. And I sure hope Rosa's family will have some wonderful non-sick days before heading home. Jay, I'm glad pixie dust hit you and I wish I was there for a family hug!!
Have fun visiting the princess and setting up your daughter's classroom. I spent 4 hours today working on mine It's that time of year again

Well that's interesting since 1 did online check in & one did not. That must not be the trick! Thanks for the quick replies!

We've done online check in on last 3 wdw trips & never thought much of it until I became a professional stalker on this thread & found a lot of people don't like online check in for various reasons.

I just wanted to confirm that BCV -- at least cash reservations - are included in the FP+ test for September. Our bands came today and I love that our names are on the inside.

We are on day 6 at BC and I am sitting at SAB while my kids swim.
I have had 6 full days to really get a good feeling and experience the resort. I would def stay here again and my kids are in heaven with SAB.

We have never had any issues whatsoever finding chairs, and after people mentioning how difficult it can be, I was very worried.
We can see fireworks from Illuminations from our balcony.
The walk to Epcot is truly amazing! I mean....2 min walk.

I love everything about this resort except...... Wait for it......

1. The boat to HS. I know, I know...a lot of people love it. I Find it annoying. It seems to take forever, so we opted to walk one time. I wish there was an option for a bus since it has to stop at 2 other resorts. Then again, the bus prob would too.
2. The bus sharing with Swan/Dolphin and then BW. OMG.....the worst is the DTD bus. It takes FOREVER. I don't understand why they have to have just 1 bus. The bus should just be for Yacht and Beach. My DH said he would not stay here again based on the bus sharing. It took us 50 min tonight to get from DTD to BC.
3. The lack of food court options. I know, I said it, but We like the food courts.
4. Our room was not very clean. By initial appearance, it was...and then on day 3 we opened a drawer to find bagels from the previous guest, a dirty bandaid in a corner and a plastic bag under the daybed.
5. That SAB opens at 10am. 10am, really? I know other guests as well were shocked by that. I think it should be earlier.....even 9am, if not sooner. We like early pool time.

All in all, I really do like BC. The smell of the lobby is memorable and the CM are truly beyond nice and welcoming. The location is undeniably the best.
The positives outweigh the negatives for sure. (well, except for that DTD bus)

I am really really happy we stayed here.

Talking Trip update

This morning's sunrise for those of you who were wondering how lovely it can be

A lovely start to a satisfying day all around. We popped over to US via taxi those guys and girls at Mears are brilliant even with a nasty accident thismorning they managed to get us to the park for opening! Managed to do all the rudes we wanted to. Came back after purchasing some neat t-shirts then off to Epcot for dinner at Liberty Inn and back again so Ethan could have some pool time and we chilled out with these frozen babies
While we chilled out to these lovely scenes

My first stay at BCV in a few weeks in a Studio and I'm SO excited! I've been wanting to say there for YEARS. I am having trouble figuring out this fridge issue though, I saw in the first page it was stated that YC and BC had the fridge issue resolved, but are the DVC rooms included in this?? Any insight??

Also, I know you need to show your room keys to use Stormalong Bay, but with the magic bands what will happen? Will we still be issued room keys we need to use along with the bands??
The last couple of days we had our Kttw cards and magic bands but since we had the magic bands, we didn't need the paper wristbands and could leave our Kttw cards back in the room. And since they are water proof, the magic bands are easy to swim with.

Going to typhoon lagoon tomorrow and hope we can just use them. Since we can charge on the magic bands, should hopefully not need to bring the Kttw cards or money to the park.

We have been asked for our cards at SAB the last couple of days and they've still given us the paper wristbands despite wearing bands. We did go to TL today and didn't need to use our cards at all, everything accepted the bands which was great
