Sellers contract number?

I called MA today asking about my membership number/kit because its been over a month side I've closed and haven't received any information yet. They said I would need the sellers contract number... Does anyone know where I can find that?

I had emailed TSS and magic vacation title asking if I could get that and they said they had no way of knowing the membership number. Just FYI

The contract number should be in your paperwork. If you can't find it, call your broker and they can give it to you.

I have my contract number but was told when I called MS that the contract number didn't do any good, as it was not in any of their lookup databases -- I needed to have either the Membership Number or the Club ID.

Missyrose - Thanks for your help... you always seem to be very helpful and understanding!!

UGH so I called MA this morning only to find out that they hadn't received the paperwork yet! I guess occasionally the fax doesn't go through or something?? So now I am trying to get a hold of the title company to see if they can send the information again I guess if they include the original close/send date that they can rush it through... sometimes. I'm hoping this is the case since I need to bank points in September! Now trying to actually get a hold of someone to help me with all this!!

Well no member will give you that information. They might have active contracts under that number. And it could give you access to their account.

Have you found your contract on the Orange County Recorder website? Then you will know for sure your closure was processed. Maybe the filing number will help MA. And if not I would ask for a supervisor a month is very long time post your closing date.

Yes, I found that the deed was recorded on July 23rd. I told this to MA and that's when they asked for my contract #. They told me that sometimes something happens with the fax and so they never received the paperwork. I need to have my closing documents, original date sent, and now recorded deed re-sent and that they usually will push things through the system since it has been so long! But that's all IF I can get a hold of someone to help

BTW - I found MA to be very helpful once I told them that it had been well over a month and was concerned that something was wrong.

Your broker at the resale agency should be helping you. It's their fault that the records didn't get there. They need to fix it.

Just an update... Can't get ahold of anyone at fidelity even after multiple msgs, but first american was great! Cammy was out so someone else helped and was very prompt in getting my information resent!
