Best Value TS & CS on DDP

So my family is in the process of planning another trip to Disney for this coming May. We have been to Disney many times, but have never done the dining plan. We have decided to try it out for this next trip and I was wondering what were the best TS and CS restaurants to eat at on the dining plan to get your value out of it. Also, we are looking at eating at Narcoossee's but didn't know if it was a good value due to the 2 credits.

Which TS and CS restaurants would you recommend?

Woolgang

We discovered Wolfgang Puck express, in Downtown Disney(near Christmas store), for a CS. Food was excellent, you order, they give your glasse, you fill it , and someone brings your meal to the table, enjoy!!!

You need to go look at the menus (allearsnet.com).

There are many places that CAN be a good value, but it depends on what you order.

For an approximate breakdown....

Your TS credit is worth $38
Your QS credit is worth $17
Your snack cr is worth $4

Your entrée, drink, and dessert should add up to those approximates for meals to break even on the DDP. If they are more, you got a good deal.

I know there are some breakdowns people have already done on what locations are the best value for the money. So I would start there.

Personally, for me we have used reg DDP 6 times and QSDP 3 times now. At first I might order the more expensive item but now I look at what I really want to eat. Now, if it's between a few items, then I will usually order the more expensive item, but for us, cost is not always the first factor.

Some of our favorite TS locations are (in no particular order)
Wolfgang Puck Cafe, DTD. (Not WPE)
Tokyo Dining
Raglan Road
'Ohana (breakfast)
Kona
PF1900
Akershus

CS
WPE
Cooke's of Dublin
Contempo Cafe
Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory (POFQ)
CHH
Cosmic Ray's
Flametree BBQ
Tilly's Snack Shack (TL)
Kringla
Tangierine Cafe

As far as whether Narcoossee's will be a better use of 2TS than using 2 credits for 2 different meals, as PP suggested, look at the menus on allears or touringplans.com and see what you might order and figure out the cost that way. It will depend on what you order.

Hope this helps. For snacks check out my snacks thread, link below.
