Atlantis, Passports Stamps & Towels…oh my :-)

Okay…a couple questions,

1 - I think I read that when you get off of the ship at the Bahamas, you need to make sure you take your passports along so you are able to reboard the ship. If this is the case, where do we store them while at the waterpark at Atlantis? I'm thinking the stowing them in a beach bag is probably not the best idea! Are there lockers at Atlantis? Anyone know the cost? Cash, coin or credit? And are they in/out or one time only?

2 - I think I also read that we could get our passports stamped with the Castaway Cay & Bahamian stamps, but there was something special we needed to do…is this the case? Any pointers?

3 - Do we take towels to Atlantis or are there towels available there?

THANKS for the feedback :-)

1. To reboard the ship in any port, all you need is your KTTW card and photo ID (just the KTTW for kids). Some people recommend always carrying your passport in port, others carry a copy, others simply leave it locked in their stateroom safe. It is not required to get back onto the ship.

2. There is a hut on the pier in Nassau, I've heard people get Passports stamped there. Or you can ask at Guest Services, some people report being able to leave passports with them for stamping. Castaway Cay is in the Bahamas and I don't believe there is a Customs location there to get a stamp.

3. Towels are handed out either where you gather for your port excursion or as you leave the ship. I haven't don't Atlantis so don't know about towels available on-site there.

Enjoy your vacation!

We did not go to Atlantis but my wife did get her passport stamped in Nassau. We had to ask at checkpoint that ship crew members use. They have the tourists go through the port shopping area. We went through the gate, into a building and down the hall to an office to get her passport stamped.

I do not remember anyplace to get passports stamped at CC.

You do not need to take your passport off this ship - just your KTTW card and license.

We did the Atlantis Waterpark and they do provide towels there. They also have lockers to rent.
