Questions/Suggestions regarding booking Happy Limo

Looking to book the Hummerzine to take a party of 12 from MCO to the Port. A couple of questions:

1. Available pickup times are 8 AM and 10 AM. We were hopign to get on the boat as early as possible to take advantage of the pool/Aquaduck and book Palo times. If we book 10 AM, and then stop at groceries for a bit, would we miss being one of the early boarders onto the ship? On the other hand, if we book 8 AM, and then get there by 9:30ish, would we even be allowed in the terminal?

2. If booking the Humerzine for 12, we also have to book a luggage van, and be expected to pay gratuity for both. How much is a reasonable baseline gratuitity for transportation service like this?

I can't help you with Happy Limo, but I do know if you arrive at the port at 9:30, you won't be allowed in. They are still clearing the ship at that time. The terminal doesn't open (officially) until 11:00. Although, it may be possible to get there a bit earlier, I wouldn't count on it.

Plus, it depends what time your PAT is, whether or not you will be allowed to enter the terminal immediately upon arrival or not.

If your PAT is 12:30, and you arrive at 11:00, you may not be allowed to enter until either the terminal is less busy, or your PAT, whichever occurs first.

Boarding generally doesn't begin until around 11:45. With Open Boarding being announced around 12:30-12:45.

I'm interested in other experiences with booking a Limo/Car Service to port. Sorry to hijack your thread!
We're torn between DCL transfer from the resort (Art of Animation) to the cruise terminal. We're a family of 4, so cost is likely even between the two. At this point we're wait listed for main dining, so getting to port early may really make a difference for us. I'm just worried something will happy and we won't make it on time!
Thanks in advance for any advice.

LimoCarOrlando.com

I got a slightly better quote from LimoCarOrlando.com. They were very responsive to emails. Has anyone had any experiences with them?

My travel agent booked us with a personal towncar with a company she uses all the time. The cost difference was negligible as we get to pick our own time, and have the personal service. For me, I have a back issue and other pain conditions, so, riding on the bus would be a hard start to the day. I can't recall the name of the company, but, am happy to give you my agents info, if you private message me. (Don't want to break the rules by posting it)

We used Happy Limo on our last cruise. Great service and it saved us money over Disney. Two things to keep in mind... They told me that the Port won't let them drop anyone until 11 and we've found that Disney transfers are more convenient on the way back to the airport (onboard check in and timing).
