Tiw ?

I have an AP and the TIW card. I also have a $40 Disney gift card. My questions is can I use both at a table service restaurant? TIA

You cannot get both the AP and TIW discount at the same time. You must choose one or the other.

As for payment, you can use whatever form you choose, including the gift card. If the bill is more than the value of the gift card you can pay the balance with another form of payment.

As MouseMomx2 said, you cannot use the TiW and the AP discount at the same time. In most cases, the TiW discount is better than the AP discount, so when possible, I'd use the TiW. It is worth noting that a few of the restaurants that do not accept TiW do offer an AP discount (Yak & Yeti, T-Rex, and Rainforest Cafe come to mind). So, if in doubt, I would ask at each restaurant if they take TiW or offer an AP discount.

There is an amazing document from allears.com that lists all the places in Disney World and the discounts you will get using your AP, TiW card or DVC membership. As the PP said, you can only use one but you will be able to work out beforehand which card will give you the best discount The TiW almost always gives you the better discount but it adds 18% gratuity. The AP and DVC memberships don't include gratuity. The TiW card includes alcohol, whereas the DVC and AP exclude alcohol discounts.

Thanks to all the replies. We are planning on eating at Artist Point. Will definitely use TIW and my gift card. We are not going until next year but I love to plan - it is half the fun, right?
