Do the little mermaid rooms usually book fast? I am so bummed we just switched to a nemo suite for November and when I called back to book a standard room for my in laws they are all booked now.

Yep, they tend to book quickly. That being said, for our upcoming trip (16 days!), the LM rooms were all booked up the first time we tried just a couple weeks after our reservation window opened, so I kept checking back a handful of times a day. After a week or two of trying, a room finally opened up for our dates. Don't give up if this is where they really want to be!

Did you check online or call? I will keep checking. DH wants them to be at the same hotel. There was availability yesterday that's why I was so bummed. I had to get their credit card info before booking.

We called the day after seeing it was booked HOPING that maybe there were a few not showing online that we could snag by calling (I didn't actually think so, but we had to call to settle a balance anyway, so we figured we may as well ask while we has them on the line.) No go. From then on, it was all online.

Don't you hate those little delays like needing a card number?! We missed our initial reservation by one day, too. Wanted to run it by the group we're sharing a room with only to have our plan foiled the next day. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I actually was able to book a room for Oct 2 days ago Checked online on a whim and once I saw it was available I did not hesitate - I usually think about it, ask DH his opinion, blah blah blah Good thing I booked it right away since when I checked again a couple of hours later it was booked solid again.

I had been checking on AoA for a few weeks before I stumbled upon the available room so don't give up. Maybe book your second choice just in case.

In short--yes. Mainly because there are so few of them.

But make a reservation somewhere, then KEEP CALLING.
