Makeup advice for the super pale

Lorreal stopped making their version of "sickly pale" my normal color. I have tried a millions other drugstore brands and well, all show the dreaded line. I work nights and I am naturally pale. Who makes the best light light lit pale makeup? Anyone? I'm thinking I need to get some nicer brand makeup. I tried ultra, they made me up and sent me out looking like a clown.

Try Bare Minerals. I'm very light skinned. I never have a line. It goes on lighter and isn't as thick as traditional foundation.

Ulta can help with the color matching. You don't have to buy all the other make up they have.

bobbi brown has some very pale options and most of her makeup is very natural looking, I'm very happy with her line.

I use Clarins and it works well for me.

I use Bare Minerals as well (the lightest shade they have) no line. Do you have a Sephora near you? They're usually good about helping you match coloring.

I don't have pale skin, but the author of one of the blogs I follow is very fair and always seems to have great product recommendations, you might want to check it out:

Bare Minerals has both Fair in their loose foundation, as well as a Fair in their READY foundation that is even lighter than the loose Fair. Ulta carries both the loose and the READY (a pressed foundation), and they can color match you.

I am super pale and the best color matches I've found are Clinique Superbalanced and Tarte 12 hr Amazonian Clay foundation. Clinique is much cheaper, but the Tarte lasts a lot longer. Go to a Sephora so you can try a bunch of different brands/shades.

I've had good luck with Almay's Smart Shade mousse makeup.

i am GHOSTLY pale (i give off a glow in our disney photos, i'm so white), and i use mineral hygienics foundation. it also has no talc or bismuth, so it's good for sensitive skin.

I am quite pale and have switched foundations over the years for reasons you mentioned until I started using Bare Minerals. I mix the fair the fairly light powders in the summer months because I do get more sun and the fair can make me look too ghostly. But once I'm back to work teaching and indoors all day, I switch to the fair shade all by itself. If you have the free Ulta rewards card, they will send you a 20% off coupon at least 3 times a year that is good for Bare Minerals products. That's when I stock up. I have one now as a matter of fact. I would also recommend you buy the mineral veil to put on over the foundation and the two different brushed used (one for the foundation and one for the veil).

Another thing you might want to try is is Jergen's Natural Glow. It is a tanning lotion that is very subtle for us fair-skinned people. You could put some on your face and neck (very small amount) to give yourself a little bit of color. Target has them in the small travel-sized tubes, so you could buy this small size to try it out and see if you like it. You probably won't need the big bottle of it anyway.

I am super pale and wear Alabaster by Clinic. It is the lightest that they make, has never left a line on me.
