Question about evening family fun & late dinner...

We are currently signed up for early dinner, but think late might work better for us...I know both have benefits and work for different families...

My question is about family fun...I was glancing at an old navigator and it looked like if you are attending late dinner you go the early show (which I already knew), but then it also looked like there would be time to go to family events like Mirror Mirror before this right?

I want to make sure we aren't missing out on family fun with the late seating...will this work? Does anyone have experience?

In my mind I feel like we can do the show...have fun together as a family...go go to the clubs...we sneak in a little adult time at the clubs...and then one TIRED family heads to bed to get ready for the next day o'fun! (Are there more family activities after late dinner as well?)

And my son's request, I am adding this icon
Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences!

Yes you will have time to attend the family function too. The show starts at about 6:15 (I believe) and lasts usually around 45minutes to an hour. The family shows (Mirror, Mirror, etc) usally start at around 7:30 and last about 1/2 hour. Even if they go a bit longer, you will still have plenty of time to get to dinner. We usually dress for dinner prior to the show and then just go from show to the family event and then to dinner.

There is intertainment at 7:30 in the evening on most evenings. It is timely enough so that you can get your MAIN dining and get there and enjoy or attend that entertainment and then head to SECOND dinner. It is family entertainment. SO, there is no advantage of either MAIN or SECOND dining in regards to this specific etnertainment.
