Most weight you've gained on a 7 day?

I am on the verge of losing weight and I would have met my goal by the beginning of next year. I will be sailing on the Fantasy in June next year and I'm scared of how much weight I will gain

Guess I will have to do an early morning daily workout on board

How much weight have you guys gained during a 7 day cruise if any?

I've only been on a 3-day, so I can't answer for a 7-day cruise (I did hold mine to 5 pounds between the cruise and three nights in Key West and travel in between), but I know there was a scale in our bathroom. I don't know if that's standard or if that was just in concierge though.

I am by no means "skinny" (5'5", 132 lbs.), but I try to keep fit and live a healthy lifestyle. I have only been on two 7-days and one 14-day, but have never gained weight. I actually end up losing 1-3 lbs. on vacation. This is because I actually have time to work out every day (or almost), and do so much walking. I do indulge in many cocktails and desserts (the soft serve ice cream is my absolute fave!) But I just am mindful of portions at meals.

If you drink soda or sugary drinks, I suggest getting rid of those. That is one of the easiest ways to eliminate calories.

I didn't work out (well, I always took the stairs, no elevator but I am meaning running on the treadmill or around the track) and I gained 8 pounds.
The previous cruise we were on I did hit the gym and only gained 2 pounds (I did not go everyday).

I ate too much on every cruise we've been on! I would like to try to not eat so much because I would never eat all that at home but I do not have any will power. I swear those donuts in the morning call my name and just jump on my plate!!

I gained 5 lbs on our Alaskan, but I ate ALOT. Like, embarassingly so.

I didn't gain on the Med cruise since we walked so much.

Cruise Director Jimmy says you can at most gain 1lb per day So eat up.

On my next cruise I plan to work out, so we'll see.

1 pound. I walk a lot on the ship and that mitigates all the food I shovel down my piehole. Also, I don't eat junk food on the ship. For the most part, the DCL food is pretty healthy.

Just did B2B 7 nighters on the Fantasy and I gained about 5lbs. Always took stairs, tried to walk a lot. Avoided lunchtime deserts in favor of more meat.

I also have already lost 2 of those pounds in the 4 days we've been back just by returning to my normalish eating habits.

So I wouldn't worry too much. Vacation weight comes off pretty quick in my experience.

First cruise I gained 5 lbs, (and took it off within the week I returned) and second cruise, 8lbs. (I took that off two weeks later.) Bottom line, I didn't eat like that at home, so the weight came off with little effort once I returned home, and back to normal eating.

I think it's pretty much the same for everyone. Enjoy your cruise.

Ditto. I gained about 8 pounds on our 7-night to Alaska. I think the first 5 pounds came off within a week, no problem. I think the other 3 pounds are still there

I just recently did a 14 night EBTA on the Magic, followed by a 9 night Baltic cruise and 5 days in Paris (including DLPR). I'm on WW and I work with a personal trainer. I had lost about 30lbs since Jan. I gained about 7lbs which I felt was really good considering I was traveling for 4 weeks total. I didn't deprive myself, ate and I drank a lot... tastings, 2 for 1 Drink of the Day, Bailey's in my coffee with dessert... you get the picture. LOL I worked out daily at the gym, I was at the doors when they opened at 6:30am. Almost always took the stairs ( we were on Deck 8 on the Magic and Deck 11 on our 2nd cruise). We did quite a few active tours on our Baltic sailing as well, cycling and walking tours. I lost 5lbs my first week home because I just don't eat and drink like that at home.
