Who will store our bags?

We are taking our first cruise in December and our Return flight is late because we had planned on going to the Magic Kingdom for a few hours and then taking DME to the hotel later. Is this going to be possible?

I would store your bags at the hotel and then go to MK

Are you staying at WDW after the cruise? Or are you flying the night of disembarkation?

How are you planning on getting from the port to WDW?

DCL transportation goes from port to WDW, or port to MCO, and costs $35.00 per person each way. DCL transportation also operates from WDW resorts to MCO (same cost). Magical Express operates from MCO to WDW and back and is free. However, Magical Express isn't just a hop on shuttle service, you must be going from a resort to the airport for them to schedule you for a specific time.

If your flight qualifies for the onboard airline checkin, you can checkin, and have DCL handle your bags from the ship to the airport, and you won't see your bags from the time you place them outside your room onboard the last night until you reach your home airport.

Thanks for all that info. Nobody had told us the bus was 35 per person so that is important to know. In this case can we rent a car at the port and drop it at the airport?

If you're going to do that just leave your bags in the car.

And yes you can do that. People do it all the time. Not every company will let you but most of them will.

I also don't think you can take the Magic Express to the airport unless you've stayed in the resort the night before. They might let you because you are staying there before the cruise, but I don't think so.

Car is your best bet.
