Virginia Beach/Hampton Roads area - birthday ideas for daughter?

We are going to be vacationing in Va Beach and will be there for my daughters birthday, she'll be turning 6. Last year we celebrated at Disney. The previous year we were in Va Beach but I had gotten there late because of sepsis/surgery, there was an earthquake and then we evacuated because of the hurricane.

Feel like we need to make it a good one and would love some suggestions on fun things in the area. Don't mind a car ride, it doesn't have to be in Virginia Beach. Thanks!

How about Oceanbreeze fun park if she likes water and down the street is Va Aquaruim and Marine Science Museum.

In Portsmouth, there is a great childrens museum.

I live in Newport News and we have VA Living Museum and across the street is the Peninsula SPCA which has a petting zoo for a small fee.

It's not Disney, but Busch Gardens in Williamsburg is not that far from Virginia Beach. Haven't been there in years, but it was always nice and clean when we had gone in the past. There is also Colonial Williamsburg which is interesting, but probably not too much fun for a 6 year old. I hope she has a great birthday!
