Can I add QS Dining Plan to Room Only Ressie?

We just added a 1 night, room only ressie using 30% pin code to our upcoming trip.

We are driving and realized we can arrive 1 day earlier than planned, so just added 1 night at a different resort than rest of vacation.

Can we add the Quick Service Dining Plan for only 1 night, room only ressie?

Thank you.

I believe that you may upgrade your room only reservation to a package if you also buy a park ticket. Then you can get the dining plan. If you are an annual passholder or DVC you could get the dining plan on a room only reservation. It doesn't matter if it's only one night. You can get the dining plan on a one night stay.

You cannot add a dining plan to a room only reservation. You would have to book a package with one day tickets to add the dining plan. The package would be subject to the usual package requirements ($200 deposit, final payment due 45 days in advance of arrival, fees and penalties for any changes or cancellations made within 45 days of arrival). You can have a one night package with paid dining.

If you have an AP or are staying on a military rate you can add paid dining to a ticketless package, but all the above package rules apply. If you are DVC staying on points and booking through DVC office you can add paid dining without a package.

If you already have a package with tickets for the rest of your stay, it's probably better to pay OOP for food for the one day because of the cost of the additional tickets. If you really want the package for the first night, you can save the tickets for a future trip - just be sure not to accidentally use them.
