We LOVE the beach club! This will be our third straight year here and I couldn't be more excited to return. We've never had any issues with cleanliness!

All you can do is judge for yourself. It's quite a subjective thing: cleanliness, noise levels, decor, CM interaction, etc. Every single resort I've stayed at, I've read negative reviews beforehand. I haven't regretted any resort I've tried so far -- although there are certainly some we won't be returning to. If something is truly bothering you about your room, make sure to go to the front desk and tell someone. If it's something within their power to fix, it's their job to make sure you're happy. Enjoy your vacation.

We stayed at BC on our last vacation. I've never been so excited for a trip. Right before we left I started noticing some negative reviews about it and got very nervous. As soon as we got there we fell in love with the resort. It was absolutely amazing. I was sooo glad we didn't switch resorts. You're going to have a great time!

Just got back from a stay at BCV Sunday night- and the villas consistently have more bad reviews saying they are in terrible shape.

Great stay, clean room in good repair, public areas were clean and the staff was fantastic.

We love the Beach Club. Our first experience at Disney was Grand Floridian. We always got two connecting rooms (we are a family of 5). As much as I love the Grand (stayed there three years in a row)... we visited the Beach Club in Dec 2012 and June 2013. Both times, rooms were great. Actually, the furniture is in good condition, room clean and overall looked more updated than the Grand. I was very happy.

It also depends on when you stay there. During a busy season, each hotel may have some spotty housekeeping due to crowds. All you have to do is call housekeeping. They will correct it. We did that at both Grand and Beach Club. When we didn't get a room made, we called housekeeping and they were on it. All you have to do is let them know.

Overall, love Beach Club... location... pool is amazing!!!, Marketplace is outstanding and just so easy... Beaches and Cream Yum... Hurricane Hannah's convenient.

one more thing

Have to add one more thing....
We were on a two week road trip and had to do laundry twice at Beach Club. Their laundry facility was excellent. I put my laundry in early in the morning (high efficiency washer and dryer) .. got my coffee and went back to put in dryer... met fun people on the way. It was so easy.

Loved also walking to dinner at Epcot. One of the family's highlight and so easy.

We stayed at BC last summer and we are staying there again this summer. My two bits of advice:

1) if you have a problem with the room call Housekeeping NOT the "Front Desk."
2) It is a bustling happy place at almost all times. This is normal for this resort. Don't hate the resort for being exactly what it's supposed to be. Accept it and go with the flow. Hakuna Matata.

I love that!!!

Thanks for both pieces of helpful advice.

We'll be there in two weeks, and we couldn't be more excited! We stayed there for our honeymoon two years ago, and in our eyes, the folks at BC can do no wrong! Everyone there goes the extra mile to make us happy!

I have "secretly" booked my family an extra few nights at BC at the end of our Christmas trip. I struggled -(sorta still am)- to pick a deluxe, but went with BC, due mainly to the proximity to Epcot and MGM. We've been in the Lobby a few times and have enjoyed a couple of Cape May Character Breakfasts. Another factor in my choice is that, (the #1 son loves his characters), and I'm looking forward to our first character breakfast that won't have the early AM transportation issues to deal with....( don't get me started........).
The bride and I have a dinner booked one night, and we will probably do at least one Epcot dinner, and hopefully take advantage of that easy walk!
I am still stoked about this trip, them Mousekeepers better be on their "A" game!

I'm super picky about resorts and hotels, and I LOVE BC. I've been staying at BC for over 21 years, and our most recent stay was in October of last year. Each and every BC room I've stayed in has been in fine shape and extremely clean.

Anyone there recently that can share some insight on the state of the rooms? Also if it is really bad how hard is it to get moved somewhere anywhere else?
As others have said, you need to take reviews with a grain of salt. We have stayed at the BC the last couple of years and are returning again next month and again in October. We have never found our room to be dirty nor have we found the resort to be dirty or gross. But I will say that if I ever encountered a dirty room, I wouldn't hesitate to contact mousekeeping. The BC is our favorite resort so far. I wouldn't dwell on the negatives...go and have a great time BUT if you do encounter an issue, don't wait to write about it, take care of it while there.

Each resort has its own personality. Sort of like cities. I like to stay at a different one each time because it makes every trip down feel different. BC is a very whimsical upbeat place, it's charming and friendly. We had some pluses and minuses with our room condition there, but we have had issues at every resort on property from time to time. Mousekeeping can sometimes blow me away and other times frustrate me to no end. I always tell people, if your room is dirty or something isn't right you have to call immediately and have it taken care of. Don't wait until you get home because by then it has ruined your trip. Those who read my most recent trip report know we went thru quite an ordeal with mousekeeping recently, but the resort manager made it right and we left WDW feeling more in love than ever. A dirty toilet is never OK at any hotel. But as long as someone else comes to clean it then I'm happy!!

Well, I won't be much help. We had a magical trip last year there...but this year, not so much. Mousekeeping wasn't great , and we had an incident where the stall door in the bathroom outside the quiet pool fell off its hinges ON my daughter due to poor maintenance and left her banged up...only to be told "we will let maintenance know" (no...not is she okay?)..I can't say for certain we will ever stay at BC again as a result. It just happened a few weeks ago, and I'm still pretty disgusted by it and how it was handled.

Who said that? A manager?
