Did the shuttles go up to $6.00 on 7/1 at Bonnet Creek?

Just read on the web that the shuttle will cost $6.00 per person at Bonnet Creek as of July 1st.

Has anyone that is there now or just came back know if it is true?

For which resort? We just left the Waldorf today. The shuttle is free - and very nice.

To be honest, if you have a family of 5 or more and plan on taking a mid-day break and going back to the parks, taking 2 round trips per person, it seems like it would be way cheaper just to have a rental car.

5 ppl round trip 2 times is $60 for one day. A rental car would be around $20 a day plus the parking fee at the park. So for about $35 a day you could have your own car versus paying $60 a day for the shuttle.

But if you only go back and forth to the park once and only have 2 or 3 ppl then maybe taking the shuttle is cheaper.

Thanks for the suggestion about a car rental. I wish we could rent a car but none of the adults going on this trip knows how to drive. We have to rely on the shuttles and cabs.

When we go to the parks we will spend most of the dayat the parks and we will have a stroller for the 3 1/2 year old. Plenty of water and breaks indoors.

My reservations for Bonnet Creek were made while the shuttle was still free. I leave next Tuesday. I just wanted to know if it was true that it went up to $6.00 per person effective 7/1.

The cost was $5.00 per person since March. I just read about the increase.

yes the rate went up. don't you hate it when people respond without answering your question? • Shuttle To Walt Disney World ® Resort: Effective July 1, 2013, each guest at Wyndham Bonnet Creek utilizing the shuttle to a Disney theme park or Downtown Disney will need a ticket to board the bus. Tickets will be sold at the resort for $6 per person per day for any Wyndham Bonnet Creek guest wanting to use this service. Children three years of age and under will be complimentary. Subject to change.

Can the ticket be used on different days for 2 one-way trips?

Thanks for the info about the charge for the shuttle going up. Does anyone know if a person purchases a ticket and uses the ticket going to the park, but doesn't use the ticket for a return trip, can the ticket be used again for another one-way trip on another day?

Is the ticket marked in some way (trip to park or return trip) or dated?

Since we can't rent a car since no one drives and we will have a 3 1/2 year old with us, we might want to take a cab back to BC and knowing this info will help me plan ahead of time.

Thank you.

Can someone confirm a rumor?

I heard it is now $6 a day, not per round trip.

True or false? As always, many thanks.

Bonnet Creek's website says $6.00 per day

I just checked the website for Bonnet Creek and it says effective 7/1 shuttles will be $6.00 per person per day.

That's great news - per day. Now if they would only have buses going back to BC early afternoon.

Does anyone have a recent schedule of the shuttles?

Just trying to bump this up. I am also wondering if anyone has a recent schedule. Would help with planning any breaks we may take.

I was hoping to here from someone who just got back and used the shuttle. If it is per day, then that's even better because we can take a break in the afternoon and go back to the park early evening.

I guess I'll find out when I get there tomorrow.
