I'm happy to dance with you
I have 2 opinions
We had tried usual things to keep them away, including something like coyote urine, it is sold in hardware stores by us

EG was too crowded on our last Dream Cruise. I'm heading to Cabanas this next time!

We went to EG. I liked having them find a table for us and bring our drinks. There are not as many choices, that is true, but when our server saw that my youngest son didn't have much on his plate he asked what he would like. My son said chicken strips, so a few minutes later he returned with a platter full of chicken strips.

Have only done Cabana's or Topsiders on departure day. Have never done EG. You do have to get your onw drinks rather than being served. We eat and then go sit on the deck. We are some of the first folks on the ship so there is never an issue in getting a table. With that said, if you are wanting a table for 10, I would go to EG unless you are in the first 10 boarding numbers. You can always go up to the top decks after lunch.

Can't lose either way.

Cabanas for sure! Nothing beats sitting outside in the sun...if it was raining though, we might do EG. Cabanas has more kid-friendly options though, we had to request stuff for our kids in EG.

The same thing happened when we had lunch in EG. My two DSs were not eating very much and our server noticed and asked what they would like. A few minutes later we had several plates with pizza, corn dogs, chicken tenders and mac & cheese. Oh, and a bowl of honey mustard

Cabanas.

However, on the classics, we choose Parrot Cay.

Food choices

We're sailing on the Fantasy...
I know Cabanas is buffet/stations. Is Enchanted Garden buffet or a la carte off the menu?

At lunch it is a buffet, at dinner it is a sit down restaurant with a menu.

Anyone know what time they close?? Especially EG? Coming from the resorts we expect to be later but would still like a small snack/meal when we get there.

We love going to Cabana's. Nothing says WE'RE ON A CRUISE, like a plate of crab legs on the deck

Wow, thanks so much for all of your input! I'm leaning towards EG again, I think with the size of our group we're better off there as far as being able to get a table. Good to know the servers will bring the kids mac 'n cheese from Cabanas, they'd love that!

We did Cabanas, but only because we were assigned Enchanted Garden for dinner that night!

No idea what we'll do on our next cruise. The last time there were only 2 of us, and I remember having a fairly difficult time finding a table. This coming trip there will be 5 of us, so Enchanted Garden might be a better option.
