Beers and Ears App

The Beers and Ears app on iPhone is awesome! Just an FYI for anyone interested. They list every beer available at WDW (and they have a BUNCH) and where you can get them. Or if you are at a certain park you can search around you to see what is available. Granted - I would not schedule my Disney vacation around beer (lol) but I do prefer some rather obscure drinks, and this app might help lean me in one direction or the other for dinner or to just take a break and have a specific beer.

Not for everyone, but I just thought I'd suggest it for anyone interested!

Edit - just wanted to add I'm not connected with the app or anything like that. Not spamming. Just happy!

My husband will LOVE this! He did a lot of samples during food and wine last October and was saying how he wishes he could remember which beers were what and where. This may help him! Thanks!

Are you aware there is a second version of this app specifically set up for the Epcot Food & Wine Festival? Hopefully it will be updates for the 2013 F&W

No - I did not know that. Thank you! I didn't even know about this one until a few weeks ago. Can't wait to try it out when we go back in December. I'd like to see the festival version just to see what all they have - even if I'm not actually at the festival!

Question

Do you know if there's a version for Android and/or Windows phones?

Well - you can go here and see a web version:

I don't think they actually have an Android version of the app. But the only thing missing from the web version is the location/ check list feature. It's still pretty cool.

Also - here is the Food and Wine Festival version that jce2 mentioned: http://beersandears.net/fwm/

You have a problem if you NEED beer to enjoy WDW.

LOL, just kidding, but I can't believe none of the Mrs Kravitzes have said that yet!!

Thanks for the info! I love how the app wants to make sure you are 17. Hmmmm, isn't the legal drinking age 21 in Florida?

Lol ... good point!! I missed that! I'm not very observant (so my wife says).

Thanks for the post, how cool is that!!

I agree, would love to see one for the wines but that is quite an undertaking if you include "by the glass" and "bottles" and I'm sure that changes weekly (if not daily).
