I'm afraid you're not going to get what you're looking for. It'll mostly be a chorus of "Try something else!" Which I don't disagree with by the way. There are much better options in DHS. Any option is probably better really. The only reason to go to H&V is if you have Disney Jr. loving little ones, and then only for breakfast or lunch. I'm actually having lunch there in September, but ONLY because my nephew telling me he "Wants to hab wunch wif Jake" means more to me than an inedible meal ever could.

Had dinner there once, not impressed. The plan now is only do breakfast if we have to, avoid the other meals at all costs.

We had lunch here last year and I wasn't impressed. The food was just so-so and the wait staff was terrible but my DD loved having lunch with the Disney Junior characters. She's not into those characters as much this year so I can skip it and not feel bad about it. I'd say go for it if you have a huge Jake, Oso, or Handy Manny fan but skip it otherwise.

Comparable to the local buffet here at home with less options on the buffet line.

We went once in 2007 when we paid for the dining plan.....

We have been back to WDW 5 times since - and have not set foot back in the place....enough said ?

Below average food, dirty tables and restrooms and less than enthused servers.

There are better options !

My family must not be very picky or we hit it at a good time, because we really enjoyed our breakfast at H&V. In particular they had really yummy cheesy potatoes. Cheesy potatoes and mickey head waffles - what more does a mom, dad or kid need?

As a PP mentioned, we only did H&V because of the Disney Junior characters. If your kids are into Jake, Oso, Manny, June, etc it is worth it.

Any word on when/if the characters might change? My younger DD would love to see Doc McStuffins or Sophia, but isn't into Jake, Oso, or Little Einsteins at all.

We did breakfast there & my only negative thing was that it took so long for the characters to come around. I enjoyed the meal & the relaxed atmosphere. The restrooms were clean. We were seated almost immediately for our breakfast ADR.

We will be having F! dinner there in October. Maybe we're just not very picky eaters?

Had dinner there once a few years ago and it was by far the worst meal I've had at WDW. Cold food and just not good!

Breakfast is leaps and bounds better than dinner.

We had lunch there this past January and absolutely loved it. Funny everyone has such different opinions. They had a large variety of food in my opinion and everyone in our party of 8 really enjoyed it. Our kids (5 year old boy/girl twins and 7 year old daughter) had a great time with the characters. If you don't know the Disney Junior characters and songs I could see it maybe being a waste of time, but otherwise I recommend it for sure.

We went for dinner once. We are not picky eaters but found the food to be awful. And for the price, you can find much better food anywhere else in the park. Also the metal chairs in the cold air conditioning are hard to sit on.
