Best Places To Eat In Hollywood Studios

Hi, I'm looking for NON-Buffet. I will be part of a family of 4 including my husband, and our two daughters ages 6 & 4. Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner. Thank you.

I may get set on fire here, but we enjoyed 50s Prime Time. The food was fresh, and the desert very good. Service was outstanding and we're probably gonna try to fit it into the schedule this winter.

We also enjoy 50s PTC as well. Fun and unique experience.

Feel free to check out my review from last month:

Dh, myself, our kids, and Dh's Mom had 50's Prime Time earlier this month for the first time and we all loved it! Even our 18 month old and 3 year old loved it. Everyone had fish except DD and I. I had the fried chicken, and Dd had the mac n cheese and both kids helped me finish my chicken. Sooo good :-)

Breakfast we usually grab a bagel or pastry in starring rolls cafe, so yummy!
Lunch I like cantina eddies & backlot express
Dinner 50's cafe hands down for us!! Love the fried chicken & pot roast. Smores for dessert are also very good!

Another vote for 50's Prime Time. We eat there everytime we go to Hollywood Studios. Although we have also had Sci-Fi Drive in and liked it well enough, but 50's Prime is our favorite. We also eat at backlot for quick service, but I'm gluten free and the pizza the qs places have is kinda gross. I have not had their non gluten free pizza so I cannot speak for that. As for breakfast we usually keep breakfast foods in our room, so not sure where to recommend for that.

I cast equal votes for 50's Prime Time and also the Sci-Fi. Both are my must do's. The 50's PT is great with the fried chicken and the pot roast.

50's and Sci FI are both good. 50's has slightly better food. Love their meatloaf, pot toast, fried chicken and though the s'mores were better in the past it's still a good dessert. Be forewarned, if you don't like being mad fun of or put on the spot avoid 50's. it's all in good fun and some servers are more into character than others. If this is not something you want stick to Sci Fi or Mama Melrose

CS Catalina eddies hot italian sandwich. It is toasted and so good.
TS MMs steaks were really good. Flatbreads too. They had a great chocolate ricotta dessert! We really like 50s food. The fried chicken, pot roast, pot pie, onion rings and desserts are so good! We sit at the bar to avoid the theming. We dont like the antics. But like the food. SciFi is an awesome place. Especially if there are no Drive ins near you! Food is decent.

Um ... there is no where good to eat in DHS except possibly the Brown Derby. I can't imagine trying to find three places to eat there.

What type of things do they do? The food at 50's sounds amazing. Thank you for replying.

I dont agree. I think the food is alot better than a few years ago. CS as I mentioned CE. But Studio Catering buffalo chix sandwich and tuscan deli was good too. DDIL likes the grilled veggie sandwich. I havent tried Starring rolls but a I know some people who luv it. I have only had desserts. Now I have heard that Min and Bills are serving a new 'cone' sandwich. Sounds interesting! SciFi,50's and MMs may not be on the scale of Cali grill or other sigs but are good! I have been to HBD 3 times and while I thought it was good. It was not great.

I agree 100% with 50's PT!!!!! We were shocked at how delicious the food was there. The fried chicken was some of the best I've ever had. I can still taste it.....

We also liked Sci Fi. Burgers and shakes, yum!
