Easier to get to Hoop Dee Doo from HS or AK?

Can't decide if we want to do Hoop Dee Doo on our AK night or HS night. We won't need all day at HS. Which one has easier transportation to the show?

Doesn't really matter as its 6 of one and half dozen of the other. Either way you will need to get a bus to Ft Wilderness.

Then, once you get to Ft. Wilderness you have to take an internal bus over to Pioneer Hall.

The longer, more scenic route to HDDR would be to take a bus from AK or HS (or your resort if you want) over to MK and then take a boat from MK over to Ft. Wilderness. Pioneer Hall is a short walk from the dock.

Would it be easy to drive to the HDDR from PORFQ?

If you wanted. You'd still have to take the interior bus from the front of Ft. Wildnerness to Pioneer Hall.

I personally really enjoy taking the boat from MK (or actually taking a boat pretty much anywhere on property when I can). There is just something about it that I find relaxing. It is, however, usually a much longer commute than taking a bus/taxi/driving (or walking in some cases).

If we took a bus from PORFQ to MK......where does the bus leave you and where do you catch the boat to FW?

If we did that going to HDDR would there be direct buses back to PORFQ after the show?

Be prepared

to have alternate travel plans.

WE take the boat from the Kingdom as often as possible because we love riding on the boats and it is very relaxing but if the weather is bad they shut down the boats.

Alternates and to drive to Fort Wilderness and take the internal shuttle to Pioneer Hall. Take a bus from any park to Fort Wilderness and take the internal shuttle back, Take a bus to Wilderness Lodge and walk over to Fort Wilderness.

If you are attending the late show you might want to drive yourself as long as you know how to get around.

The drive from PORFQ is about 5min and the internal bus 10-20 depending on your wait for the bus. If you have a car it is easiest to drive from PORFQ.
