Fine print on adr

I am making an ADR for 1900 Park Fare.....this was in the fine print you have to check ok to...

"At Family Style or Buffet locations Guest will only receive one meal, this will not be all-you-care-to-eat. Guests will be charged the regular buffet or all-you-care-to-eat price."

I am sure there is a simple explanation but the wording confuses me.
Are you not able to go back to buffet as you do at Cape May and Chef Mickey's?

Thanks

Hahaha, this is why I never read the fine print!

In all seriousness, I'd also like to hear an explanation for this....

Yes, we've gone back to the buffet to refill, try different things, etc. as many times as we've wanted every time we've eaten there.

The wording really contradicts itself...this is not an all-you-care-to-eat, yet it then goes on to say you'll be charged the all-you-care-to-eat price. ??? Doesn't make sense.

Regardless, you can get all you care to eat while you're there.

I think it's easier to reason with a CHIMPANZEE than to reason with a tween/early teen!

I wonder if it's worded that way so that someone doesn't make a breakfast reservation and expect to be able to camp out ALLLLLLLLL day (ie "all you care to eat")?? Cuz you just KNOW someone probably tried this at some point. So they'll get ONE meal which will be a buffet which is all you care to eat but not an all day all-you-care-to-eat.

KWIM?

Or it could just be a typo.

Perhaps they want us to know that your extended "family" of 20 each have to pay for their meal and that you all don't eat for 1 price?!?!?

My guess too. But I agree... the wording is bizarre and technically makes no sense

I just looked it up on Tusker House, and it's inside the information for Kosher meals. If you need a Kosher meal, but are at an all you can eat place, you're not getting all you can eat Kosher meals. You'll be charged the price of the restaurant at the meal, but you're not getting as much food as others can have.

It's awful spacing and there's no heading, but if you read the paragraph above and below you see that it's for Kosher meals.

This was my guess, if you are having a special meal made by the chef for someone in your party (dietary needs etc.) you will only get that one meal and still be charged the same price as the buffet.

Aha - now that wording makes more sense then.
