Here in the park now. Is there a time when the line is a hour or less? Maybe near closing? We just missed getting FP earlier today

We were at DCA last week and never saw the line below 90 minutes. Usually was 120 minutes for stand by wait.

The only times when I've seen the line below an hour for standby was right at opening and during the AP-only extra evening hour earlier this year. Other than that, it's been an hour or more right up to the closing.

You might find a shorter line if you manage to show up just as it's coming back up from a lengthy down time. You can't predict that, but that's the only other way I can think of that the lines might be short during the summer.

I've never seen it below an hour, but if you get in line right at closing, you will still be able to ride and not miss out on any park time. You still might wait a long time, but it will be after everything else has closed.
