FE Question...What have the AVERAGE NUMBER of cabins/participants on your cruise?

We just finished participating in a fish extender group and it was lots of fun. I'm excited about preparing for the next one as I'm on summer vacation and have nothing but time on my hands. This last cruise we had about 35 cabins/107 participators on board the WONDER. Given we will be taking our next cruise on a much larger ship, wondering what numbers could be expected?

Not sure about cabins, but my August FE group has just over 100 people in it and the cut-off is this weekend. They're splitting it into 2 groups of ~50 and you can be in one or both.

We have been part of 30 staterooms to over 125 on the PC repo. The more staterooms, the more fun the kids have coming back to the room and finding goodies -- as well as for the adults.

Going on my first cruise in October and we have two groups of 25 cabins (already!) and are well into the 3rd group. I like splitting groups by cabins (and not people) since I plan to make a "family gift" and it is easier knowing from the beginning I'll only be making 24 of those...and not 50! I think there are over 75 people in the group - some have 5 ppl in a room, some, like us, only have 2.

On our Med cruise we had 4 groups of 20 cabins. It was a good way to divide it up, especially since we had restricted luggage space.

We had four groups of about 10-cabins each. Some people were only in one group and others were in all four. I liked having the option. It was an 8-day on the Magic.

Our last cruise we had 2 groups of 20 cabins I think. We did one gift per cabin and I made them so I don't think I would have finished more than 20. I was cutting it close as it was.
But I don't want to go among MAD people!

on the magic cruise i was on we had a group of 25 cabins (or thereabouts) by cut-off date....actually a few more than 25 gifts...

the last minute folks put their own list together and, i believe, had about 35 cabins...

once u get past 25 cabins u spend an AWFUL LOT of time traipsing all over the ship which, in my book, is less vacation time...

and our DGD WAS thrilled to get all sorts of stuff but how many stickers and glow sticks can u use on a 7 day cruise....?

who in the wide wide world of sports needs 125 FE gifts to deliver OR receive?!....if everyone gave us a dollar or two, I might think differently

Our last 7 day we cut off the list at 15 cabins and then created more lists. We ended up with 4 lists of 15 cabins. Some people signed up on all 4 lists if they wanted to participate more - some people only signed up for one.

Worked out could be manageable on each participant terms.

The only downside was the people on the last list - they only had the chance to be on that one. But, since that list was created only about 3 weeks before the snooze you lose!

We're booked on a Feb 2014 Easter Caribbean cruise and our FE coordinator is topping out the groups at 15 cabins each. i'm really happy with this as I like the idea of participating in a FE but luggage space is limited so we won't have to take a lot of stuff there nor find room for it coming back.

so far we're into our 2nd group of participants which isn't too bad since our cruise is still 7 months away!

I like the idea of smaller groups. I was on a PC cruise that had I think 140 or so cabins - it was pretty crazy. We pretty much had to walk the whole ship handing them out one evening. But there were a lot of sea days, so it wasn't that big a sacrifice.

On the flip side, we had to empty out our fish extender several times a day - and the sheer amount of stuff we got was unbelievable.
