MNSSHP.... Prefer that time period over Decembers iffy weather, high crowds and peak season rates..

Halloween is my favorite holiday sonic would chose MNSSHP. I think there are too many people at Christmas.
And it cools off and I like the pools and water parks so late Sept / Oct is better for me.

I've been to both and had fun at both, but I prefer MVMCP. I love Christmas and have never been much into Halloween. I love the snow on Main Street and the decorations. The parade is wonderful.

We are going to MVMCP this year, but I would love to go to MNSSHP. Everyone talks about how wonderful the Halloween parade is.

I've been to both and preferred MNSSHP, although both were fun.
Having your kids be able to dress in their halloween costumes and go trick-or-treating in the park was alot of fun. Plus you get to see the villains and get your pictures made with the,

I think it largely depends on whether you love Halloween or Christmas more. If you love Halloween most, then I'd go to MNSSHP. If you love Christmas most, then I'd go to MVMCP. If you love both equally, I'd go to MNSSHP.

The dance parties and character meet and greets are pretty similar between the two parties, just with different themes. So for me, it comes down to the parade, fireworks, and food activity. MNSSHP has my favorite parade (Boo To You) and fireworks (HalloWishes). The food activity, trick or treating, is a lot of fun. The cookies at MVMCP were fun to eat, but there was only so much you wanted to eat and they didn't travel very well.

So if I had to pick between the two parties, I'd go to MNSSHP. If I could go to both, I would, but MNSSHP is my favorite.

We did the last MNSSHP and the first MVMCP last year during the same trip. I loved them both equally. I did enjoy dressing up for mnshhp which you can't do for mvmcp, so if you plan to dress up i'd say that one.

We had the pleasure of doing both parties. Personally I love MNSSHP and we go every year (we always end up at WDW in Sept or Oct)
We did MVMCP in 2008 and the weather was very co-operative the hot cocoa was perfect! We didn't do as much of the other activities with the MVMCP, but I don't remember if that was due to less interest or we were just too cold!

Either one is going to be a very special Disney Memory.

I have done both parties one time each and yes Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I do love MNSSHP and planning to go for the second time this October and I think that the Boo to You Parade is the best.
Next Trip October 20 - 25

We've been to both and they are both wonderful, but we love MNSSHP better. In fact, next time we go, we are going in October for the MNSSHP.

I love Christmas. My absolute favorite holiday! But MNSSHP is so much better. The costumes, trick or treating and the best parade EVER! Our entire family prefers it.
