We always do two days at MK, and get to do everything we want.

We generally do rope drop both days. One day we stay most of the day -- until 5:00 or 6:00, then have a nice dinner outside the park or counter service at the resort and go swimming. The second day, we stay until lunch, take a break, and return later in the evening for the parade and fireworks.

Do the headliners first thing in the morning, and take it easy from there.

We split up the lands for example fantasyland and tomorrow land one day then frontier land and adventure land the other day. Main Street and liberty square can be split up too. It sometimes overlaps when we actually get there but it's good idea to have a plan esp if you are figuring out Adrs and such.

August 2015: AoA Lion King Suite Me DW DD12
April 2007: ASMo (Fantasia), WDW Swan, FW Campground Me DD5
March 2000: AsMo (101 Dalmations) Me DGf

We split it up into 2 days, and actually are considering adding a 3rd. The first day we did all of fantasyland (minus IASM), and a few other rides..Splash, POTC, JC, HM. The next day we did IASM, POTC, JC, and Tomorrowland. Both days we were there before rope drop and left by 2:30/3. If we add on a 3rd day it would be a short one. BTMR was closed over the weekend and DD really wants to go on it. Plus we skipped Tea cups, the speedway, magic carpet and a couple other attractions. Granted it's 95+ degrees here now and in this heat there is NO WAY we could've done long days!

Good to know. I haven't been since before DD was born and I know a lot has changed. Maybe we will split the days 1/2 character searching and 1/2 rides.

We are doing 2 full days also at MK- then we are also doing another day MVMCP- so we will enter park at 4pm and stay till 12pm- so more or less we will be there 3 days! I want to do alot of the character meet and greets- we also have early ADR's for CRT and CP so we can get in the park before it opens and also see some of the characters. I think we are going to split the park up also ando 1/2 and 1/2- the when we go to MVMCP- we will do the rare characters that will be there, parade and fireworks with hoping to do alot of rides on Space Mountain like we did last year. During MVMCP we rode it 15 times in a row with no wait times! It was a blast!

It also depends on how crowded a time of year you are visiting at. We just got back from MK and I followed the advice on these boards to do two of the lands well one day, and do the rest the next day. Day one we did Adventureland and Frontierland, had a late lunch at BOG to whet our appetite for Fantasyland, and left shortly after as it was crazy crowded by then so we went back and enjoyed the resort pool. The second day we did Famtasyland first and Tomorrowland.

We also did rope drop and used fast passes and had fast pass runners so we did not wait in any long lines. To me, rope drop and fast passes was the key!! Try to minimize wasted time going back and forth from area to area, especially if it is hot, as it was when we were there!

We are going Dec 14-18. So I'm sure it will be crowded but hopefully we will be avoiding some of the Xmas crowd.

Last time we went our daughter was just shy of 5 years old and we did two days in MK. First day we started at the castle (she wanted to go to Tink's Treasures and call her ) and then went to meet the fairies, did stuff in Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, and then parts of Main Street. Saw shows and parades and had dinner at Tony's. Long day! But did everything we planned (and then some) with one minor exception (Astro Orbiter)

The next day we walked to the castle AGAIN, then did the left side of the park. Always started in the back and worked our way forward. This day we finished early and ended up having time to go swim before our dinner rez at Chef Mickey's.

Our daughter is 8 now and we're still planning on splitting it into two days, if only because Wishes isn't showing on the first day we're planning to go. It'll be a nice way to end the vacation though.
Five trips to the "world", now a cruise to look forward to, April 2015

Don't forget to schedule an appointment at Bibbidee Bobbidee Boutique for the princess and a pirate makeover for both of them (and yourself if you are so inclined!) Both of these experiences are something you have to do at least once.
