Just had one an hour ago. But it was a lemon filled one and had granulated sugar on top instead of powdered sugar. Yummy!!

Never had one, never seen one, and only heard about them from the dis. Looks good though...

Must be a Polish thing like Dyngus Day. Where I live is mentioned on the wiki for Paczkis...guess I'm lucky

Not until Wednesday... I'm going to try to mags my own this year but we'll see. For those who haven't had them they're a Polish tradition; you eat them the day before Lent begins.

Lent begins on Wednesday. My dh May have one since he's polish but I don't eat that kind of thing so I'll pass.

Someone asked if it is like a shortcake -- no, it is more like a huge, filled, fried doughnut. There are many filling choices. Worth every calorie!
