Using Costco tickets...do you need to show credit card used?

Okay, so I went to pick up our trip doucments from AAA, but we got our Universal park tickets from Costco. a friend bought them for us. i have 4 tickets, they just look like cards with a place to sign your name. They say must be signed at desk, so not signing them until we check in. They are 3 day multi park tickets. My travel agent thought we would need to show the receipt which of Course we do not have since they were purchased by someone else. I am hoping someone Can tell me she was wrong and that weonly need the tickets and not A receipt or credit card they were purchased with. And since our friend is on her own vacation now ,there is no way to get the receipt. So that would really be awful.
Hoping for good news here...thanks

i'm assuming you would sign the passes on the first day you use them.
the TM at the entrance gate will probably look at them and ask for your signature on them.

never have read that you need to show the receipt for the purchase of the AAA tickets.

you might have to show an id so take your DL with you or another form of identification.

don't worry, you will be fine.

Yup, I agree with mac. You will be fine.

The only reason you would need ID would be if your finger scan doesn't work after the first time you enter the park.

We bought them last year and used them in the park and did not have to show a receipt - no worries.

Ok, great thanks so much! I did not buy them through AAA, but I only booked my hotel with AAA. the park tix are from Costco and so the AAA TA had never seen them before and though I would need proof of purchase, which I do not have.

I did research it a bit before our friend bought them, but the TA made me very nervous.

Sorry to hijack, OP, but are the Costco tickets for Universal only sold in Florida?

I only see Universal Hollywood tickets at my California Costco. Does anybody know if I can call any of the Florida Costcos to buy my ticket? Or how much they are over there?

there have been a few threads over the month about the cosco tickets for the darkside.

from what i remember, cosco tickets are being sold in other states and not florida.

i'll look back and see if i can find those threads for you.

My hubby and I purchased the three day Costco tickets in February in NH and never needed to show an ID or receipt. When we first got there, we showed the tickets (which we signed) and scanned our fingerprint and then never needed the ticket again. It was very easy to go back and forth between the two parks. We are actually going next week to finish up the balance of the ticket! Hoping there won't be any issues with that lol. But I must say, the Costco deal was the BESt around, especially for a three day park to park that doesn't need to be used within 14 days.

You do not need the receipt. We just used 3 of the Costco tickets a few weeks ago. You just sign them at the gate when you scan your finger. I did need an ID because we ended up upgrading the Costco tickets to annual passes, and they wanted to verify our identities.

I haven't seen the Costco tickets at our Costco in over a year (Hampton Roads, VA). I look every time hoping they'll come back
