Last day check out/dining question?

Ok so we check out on a Friday. We have a 7:35am ADR at Ohana's and are then going to MK for the day (staying at an off resort hotel that night and driving back home Saturday). My question is could we just drive our car to Poly then leave it there for the day or is there a time limit on how long it can be there? We were going to get a cab to take us to Ohana's then monorail to MK. It would just be easier if we could drive, and since we will be checked out there would be no need to go back to our resort that afternoon. Just need some advice.

If you have an ADR, you will typically get a 3-hour parking pass to park at the resort. It sounds like you're staying on-site through Friday, then off-site Friday night, correct? If so, just drive to the TTC (Transportation & Ticket Center, also called the Magic Kingdom parking lot). You'll park free if you're staying on-site, through the last day of your reservation (Friday). You can either monorail or walk to the Poly (I would walk). Then monorail to MK after breakfast. At the end of the day, take the monorail or ferry back to the MK parking lot to your car and head to your off-site hotel.

Have fun!

we parked at the Poly last time we were there and had an ADR at Kona and then left our car & went to MK. Although we were staying on property (just not at Poly, at DCR) & it was a slow season so not sure if that is why it didn't matter.

Thank you! I didn't know that your could park for free if you were staying on property. We will be at CBR from Sunday sept 15-Friday Sept 20th then off property for Friday night and driving home to NC on Saturday! Being able to park close to Poly makes it so much easier then having to worry about other forms of transportation. : )

Yep! One of those added extras for staying on-site. You just show your parking pass and park for free, so keep that in mind if you don't like taking buses or if you are running late for an ADR, or have ADRs at other resorts. It's much easier to drive your own car than to take Disney buses between resorts.

Have a wonderful trip!

Just want to note - you are not allowed to park at a resort where you aren't staying for more than 3 hours UNLESS you valet park.

But, as a PP pointed out, you can park for free at the TTC and walk to the Poly. That would be your best option given the plans you have.
