Thanks for the response. Called tech support, they fixed acct issue and the bands have been ordered. Yay! I'll sleep better tonight now that this has been settled. LOL

We are checking in Sept 21 for 6 nights, room only. Still no Magic Bands. Should I be concerned or call tech support? I've linked my reservations and MNSSHP tix. I will link park tickets as soon as I receive them. Have not done online check in. Any ideas why I have not been offered MBs yet? I'd really like to be a part of the test. :-)

Thanks!
You have to do online checkin for the customize bands option to appear (you're not alone; I would have had no idea about that if I hadn't checked the theme parks board... thanks, Disney IT!). We are checking in the same date and got our bands yesterday.

LOL I like your PSA. I have actually said the word ressie but I always type reservation.

I did not do online check-in yet. So maybe they have removed that requirement? Or maybe another glitch in the system? Who knows. But at least I have my bands ordered!

Since they actually worked on your account they probably bypassed that requirement. Unless you are staying CL I would do the online check in so that you can get your requests in and may have better luck at getting what you want.

I was able to get magic bands customized last night (leaving 9/21) and have not done on-line check-in so I think that is no longer required.

Wondering what u would do... Opinions really appreciated... We have the poly booked for 9 days in November. Not knowing much about the construction (besides that's its happening) we were thinking of splitting our stay to a Epcot resort. Would you stay at the poly 6 days out of the 9 or 3?
Side note: 3 of these days will also be spent at the mk .... 2 at Epcot and 1 At HS (traveling with toddlers)
Thanks all for ur opinions.

Does anyone know if the Poly construction is going to interfere with monorail operating hours??

We have a trip booked for March '14 and the last time we went in March '12 the GF construction dramatically cut down on the monorail hours... It was annoying. We LOVE LOVE LOVE the Poly and have never stayed anywhere else but with a special needs child the monorail is a huge perk

Thought I would add that I did not do online check-in even though I was still able to do FP+ and customize my magic bands. We arrive 10/13 and it opened up for me on 8/22. I was checking before that to no avail.

Glad to hear that others were able to clear it up with tech support!! Now I am hoping they open up FP+ for BOG lunch (and not just in testing mode ).

DH will only stay at the Poly so I would stay at the Poly . Seriously though, it depends on what you want to do and your vacation habits.

Day 4 of our first Poly stay and loving it! Got my request of Samoa 3rd floor facing the volcano pool and right now my husband and I are sitting on the balcony finishing our 100% Kona coffee. I'll get the kids up in a few minutes to get ready for our day at Animal Kingdom.

So far the Poly cast members have been wonderful too!

Does anyone know if the new restricted/Rapidfill mug system is in place at the Polynesian yet?

TL? Was it turned on yet? It just sounds so annoying to deal with; hoping to sneak in one last trip with being able to mix regular and diet coke.
