Saturday night in October

I am trying to decide if we need to make an ADR for a Saturday night in October and if so where. We want to avoid Epcot due to F&W. We also want to avoid MK as it is one of the few non-party nights. I was debating going to DTD and just eating counter service but I am worried that it will be packed. I remember one trip where the line for WPE was almost over to Earl of Sandwich but I can't remember what time of the year that was. We aren't on the dining plan so no pressure to use credits.

We already have ADRs at Flying Fish, Via Napoli, and 50's PT.

Should we make an ADR to just be safe? If so, any suggestions?

Have you thought about ohana or 1900 park fare and watching the fireworks from one of those two hotels? It'd be beautiful! Or go to AKL & eat at Boma then use night vision goggles to watch the animals there. It'd be fun, relaxing & away from the crowds

If you want to go to DTD I would suggest making a reservation at one of the restaurants there. That way you have a place to go - maybe even try somewhere new/different. Raglan Road is awesome! We also loved the T-Rex restaurant. Kinda loud but the food/service was good and it was something new that you don't see anywhere else. You can always cancel the reservation the day of if you feel like a QS place would work out better for you.

Have a great trip!!

I think you guys are right. I should book something just in case. I will look at Raglan Road. Last time we went there we weren't thrilled but it has been a couple of years.

My opinion is yes make one. We have ADR's for Boma & T-Rex on the weekend to avoid Epcot during the weekend in October.

Yes, definitely. Last year, also in Oct, we didn't make many ADRs because my husband wanted to wing it. We got so burned by not being able to get into any TS.

At DTD we like Trex RFC and Paradiso. These are our go tos. Most of the time we sit at the bar and dont make ADRs. But if you want a ressie. Call direct. Disney doesnt get a lot of times from these places. So calling direct is the way to go! Have fun!

Well I lost my mind and made a reservation for Chefs de France. We are staying at the Boardwalk so I figured it can't be too bad to get there.
