Good Coffee is subjective. I like Starbucks, you don't. If you don't like it, don't drink it I don't like Coke, but I don't complain that it's sold in the parks, I just don't buy it.

point taken

Guess I use the word coffee loosely here. What they're really about is making coffee flavored drinks. I'm just lamenting a lost opportunity and some lazy imagineering.

They have enough actual coffee, not just the Frap's. You can get black coffee, lattes and Cappuccinos, Teas and Fraps.

Yeah, it's literally a matter of taste. I seem to recall bringing some Pepsi with me into the parks.

I'm curious what that would be...exactly?

(I always love to hear what "good" coffee is if Starbucks is not)

I suppose good coffee is coffee that isn't excessively bitter....not that there's anything wrong with that lol unless you're drinking coffee

Moving from the Nescafe instant they had been serving Starbucks is a huge step up.

But it's still subjective. I really like Starbucks coffee. At the end of the day Starbucks is extremely popular so many people will be buying it.

Exactly
I tried my best to not like starbucks-- but as it turns out, for my tastes, they have the best roasters around. And the cost for their beans is very reasonable.

I love Starbucks and I don't care who knows it

lol

I was rather the other way around. I wanted to likey but found them too consistently unlikey worthy. Now it's been years since I've been in a Starbucks.

They got to have some low acid processes. Peet's is my favorite but I can't drink it as it tears up my stomach. Sumatran from Starbucks is no issue at all.

one rule of thumb

more heavily roasted means less acidity but it does increase the sourness/ bitter taste for most people.

While I do think starbucks roasters are among the best in the business, I rarely buy a morning beverage at starbucks. I buy their beans and make espresso at home, where I can have it without a trip. ( And I bring my mini espresso machine along to Dis).

Starbucks shops are a place for people to hang out, study, do some work correspondence, etc. I don't see this happening in the parks. Won't be surprised if they are not so busy.
I know this is an older post, but I agree wholeheartedly. I drink Starbucks, but it is something I do first thing, by the time I get in the park I'm more interested in hitting the attractions rather than sitting down and drinking coffee. Unlike water or a soda, coffee is something you drink slow so grabbing one between rides is not an option. Open shops at the resorts and let me get my cup of coffee on my way to the parks.
