pooh-size problems?

a while back I remember hearing the seats in the theater can be tight if you are pooh sized. does anyone have any suggestions on any of the seats being bigger? how about other areas of the ship that are tight fitting?

yes the theater seats were a bit uncomfortable for me and I am pooh sized. I found sitting in a seat on the end was a bit more comfy. Nothing else stands out as being too bad. I used the chairs without arms in Cabanas.

In the back of the theatre near the entrance I have notice a few stacking type metal chairs with no arms near the disabled electric chair section. I've sat in them a few times when I was late to the show.

We sat in the balcony once and there are regular chairs there and tall chairs. You might try that. But you probably have to get there early to snag them. Our cruise wasn't crowded, so we walked up about 10 minutes before the show. You'd probably want to think 30 minutes or more.

Eta: sorry--this was the Fantasy

I guess maybe it depends on how Pooh sized you are? My husband is a pretty big guy (and I'm no skinny Minnie myself) but we both thought the theater seats on the Magic were fine.

On the classic ship (at least) the seats up towards the stage are smaller, and they get a little larger the more rows back you go (up to a point I assume)

Maybe worth putting on a comment card, especially before they rehab the Magic....the least they could do is have the arms of the seats raise up, like they do on airplanes.

I always let my servers know that I like a chair with no arms. After the first night one is always magically at my table. On the Wonder the theater seats were small, but for 45 minutes I dealt with it. The kid passing gas immediately behind me, stinking up the place, was a bigger distraction. Ewwww.
Also in the promenade lounge the chairs are kinda squishy to sit it, but there are also some bench seats. If you can, snag them early at things like trivia or bingo.
4 cruises on the Wonder and nothing has scarred me enough to keep me from #5&6!

Be forewarned that the Buena Vista (movie) theatre is more cramped than the Walt Disney (stage show) theatre. If you're over six feet your knees will barely clear the seat in front of you.

Not tight fitting so much but a bit of a PITA for me - the adult pool doesn't have steps - it has ladders. These make it a bit tougher for me to climb out of the pool and I can't do it gracefully (it doesn't stop me from going into the pools, it just makes it tougher for me to get in and out).

I'm Pooh sized also

I have sailed on the magic ,dream and fantasy. I am Pooh sized and also was worried about the seats. I found in the Walt Disney Theatre the seat on the isle is definitely bigger however I always seemed to have to move in so my trick was to sit down on the edge of the seat and then slide back. it worked like a charm. hope this helps

On the classic ships the rows of seats alternate. Stop for a minute and take a good look. The rows alternate between a narrow seat and a slightly wider row of seats.

Um, I'm 5'6" and my knees bang into the seat in front of me. o.k. so my height is in my legs, but I really wish DCL would redo the seating in the Buena Vista theatre. DH and I sit in the back on the folding chairs because of the lack of leg room.
