Disney Dilemna

Dilemna is Disney??? NO WAY!

I am booked for 3 days (F-M) at PO Dixie (sorry Riverside)I am also booked for 3 days of park and dining (counters). Do I cancel the parks and dining and just wing it for the weekend??? We are checking into AKL on Monday and have free dining and parks til we leave on Friday....

So it sounds like you are buying two sets of tickets? That is quite a waste of money - you really only need one set of tickets for your entire stay.

What I would do is book room-only at POR for your first three nights - ditch the tickets, ditch the dining. Add more park days (enough to cover your POR days) onto the tickets that are connected to your AKL reservation and simply pick your tickets up early when you check into POR. You should be able to do this by bringing your AKL package reservation confirmation number to a Guest Service kiosk at any of the parks (if you research "picking tickets up early" on these boards, you will get specific instructions).

So, for example, you reservations would look like this:

1) POR, room-only, Friday - Monday

2) AKL, free dining package, Monday - Friday with 8-day tickets

That way you will be saving a TON on tickets and will just have to pay OOP for your dining when staying at POR.

Hope that makes sense.

This . Your DDP credits from the package won't be available until you check in at AKL, but you can get your park tickets up to 3 days prior to the start of your package.
