neither a rumour or news!

I know this is the rumour and news page and this is neither! More of a pondering... recently my son has become obsessed with wall.e. it's got me thinking, how awesome would a ride be where you ride on the hover chairs! they could be controlled by you and there could be an element of trying to knock down the most buy n large giant paper cups! if someone could suggest this to a high up member of staff and get the ball rolling that would be great!

I love Wall-E as well, but I've never as much seen him in the parks to take a picture with. I'm not sure how you'd execute the hover chair technology with independent control unless you virtualized it.

That would be something like Luigi's Flying Tires in Carsland. Trust me, you don't want another version of that.

Something in Carsland that people don't like? Say it isn't so! .
This is why I'd rather have Pixarland than Carsland in DHS. With RSR, mind you.

My wife and I actually liked that ride. Now as far as how often I would ride if it were in WDW......

We call the obese riding ECVs around the world 'Wall-Es' in honor of that scene.

I would appreciate a ride like that. I agree with the other poster, would like to see more of a pixar land vs carsland.

Yes, they took it out and are replacing it with the dwarf mine train.

Also I LOVE WALL-E and wish there was a way to incorporate him into some tomorrowland attractions...or even just a meet and greet!

Speaking that you have no knowledge of the person and what medical conditions they have you really should not just assume they are using the EVC's simply because they are lazy like the people in Wall-e. It is very ignorant and simply not right.

I agree with the ignorance of this statement! We will be going next year and taking my older sister (63) who has never been there. She is a little heavier, but has had diabetes and all the walking will not be good for her feet, so we will be getting her an ECV to use while we are there!

ECV's

My59 year od husband while he is obese is unable to walk long distances because he broke his ankle several years ago and it did not heal correctly. And there are lots of larger guests who do walk miles everyday to experience Disney's magic. Do not even begin to assume why someone is riding on an ECV. Because someday it might be soeone you care about.
