DAY 1 CHECK INTO WILDERNESS LODGE GO TO THE WONDERFUL SANAA FOR DINNER ON MY WIFE'S BIRTHDAY 6/3/13

Checked into wilderness lodge around 9:30 am. My request was honored with getting one of the two Northside Honeymoon Rooms, room 7085 (MK & Contemporary View from balcony) , I was very happy with that. Weather in the 80s, overcast, but we were very happy with the weather. Had some breakfast at old faithful club. We sat by the main pool and my wife had a pina colada and i had a couple of white sangrias.

We then went to boardwalk. Not a lot of people and not much going on. Were somewhat disappointed in the shops and the boardwalk overall. The one bright spot was Boardwalk To Go. We had fried ravioli [IMG][/IMG], fried mac & cheese bites, and a diet coke. Not healthy at all, but gets 4 out of 5 stars.

Went to AKL watched animals at Kindani Village since had an hour and a half to kill before our 5 pm reservation at Sanaa [IMG][/IMG]. Sarona and Mandela were very friendly and informative cast members Sarona and Mandela. We loved watching the zebras and giraffes. At Sanaa, we had 2 bread services since we loved it so much (traditional naan, garlic naan, and onion kulcha, with red pepper hummus and cucumber raiata and mango chutney with the first order of bread (though neither of us ate the mango chutney) [IMG][/IMG], I had a white sangria and my wife had some coconut alcoholic drink [IMG][/IMG], for her entree my wife had lamb shank [IMG][/IMG], and I ordered the bison masala . We had a window table with great view. My wife loved seeing the animals [IMG][/IMG], while eating especially this one bird that kept banging on the window during our meal [IMG][/IMG]. They even came around and sang and played Happy Birthday to my wife on the hand drums .
I thought it was the best meal I ever had. Not only was I in heaven from the food, but we were both very impressed with the quick service and our waiter Tony G. Was excellent. My wife gave it 4.5 out of 5 stars. It gets 10 stars out of 5 stars rating from me. Even our little bird friend wanted the wonderful food since he kept banging on the window during our whole meal. Shows birds know excellent smelling and looking food too. MY FAVORITE MEAL OF THE TRIP (ONE OF OUR TWO MUST DOS ON OUR NEXT TRIP).

After dinner we went to DD. There was a lot of people and we were very disappointed in most of the shops and Downtown Disney. However, my wife bought herself a t shirt at Tren D (although returned the next day), and an Eeyore (that she surprisingly does not already have) at once upon a toy. Here is a pic with y wife and a lego lady at the Lego Store .

Then went back to territory lounge at WL, where i enjoyed 2 more white sangrias and my wife enjoyed a bahama mama. When we got back to Wilderness Lodge our personalized ears to the bride and groom hats were waiting for us in our room . Overall we had a wonderful day thanks to Wilderness Lodge and Sanaa.

DAY 2 DAY AT DHS AND NIGHT AT POR AND DD 6/4/2013

WE SPENT HALF THE DAY AT HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS. WE RODE ROCK N ROLLER COASTER TWICE (IT IS OUR FAVORITE RIDE NOW). THE FIRST TIME WE RODE WE GOT THE BACK ROW (THAT WAS COOL). WE ALSO RODE TOWER OF TERROR (IT WAS A LITTLE DISSAPOINTING FROM WHAT WE REMEMBER FROM PREVIOUS TRIPS), SAW MUPPETS 3D (WHICH IS ANOTHER ONE OF MY FAVORITES), AND JOURNEY OF THE LITTLE MERMAID (MY WIFE THOUGHT IS WAS REALLY CUTE). THOSE WERE THE ONLY RIDES THAT WE WERE REALLY EXCITED ABOUT DOING AT HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS (OF THE 4 PARKS MY WIFES AND MINE LEAST FAVORITE). WE HAD LUNCH AT MAMA MELROSES . I HAD A GLASS OF RIESLING AND MY WIFE A DIET COKE. WE SHARED THE CRISPY CALAMARI APPETIZER AND MY WIFE HAD A CEASAR SALAD (NO PIC OF THE CEASAR SALAD). I LIKED HOW THEY GAVE YOU A VARIETY OF DIPPING SAUCES WITH THE CALAMARI. FOR OUR ENTREES I HAD THE PENNE ALA VODKA WITH CHICKEN , AND MY WIFE HAD THE CHICKEN PARM (SORRY FORGOT TO GET PIC OF THE CHICKEN PARMESEAN BEFORE SHE FINISHED IT). WE BOTH GAVE IT 3.5 OUT OF 5 STARS. WE HAD ALSO STOPPED AT THE WRITERS STOP WHERE MY WIFE GOT A MICKEY MOUSE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE . IT WAS SO BIG SHE DID NOT FINISH IT ALL UNTIL MUcH LATER THAT EVENING. FOR THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON, WE RETURNED TO WILDERNESS LODGE. WE RELAXED IN THE HOT TUB AND I GOT 2 WHITE SANGRIAS WHILE MY WIFE GOT A PINA COLAVA . WE THEN HEADED OVER TO PORT ORLEANS RIVERSIDE. WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED WITH THIS RESORT (NEITHER OF US HAD SEEN IT BEFORE), THAT WE WILL MOST PROBABLY STAY HERE ON OUR NEXT VISIT. SINCE WE AGAIN WERE WAY EARLY FOR OUR DINNER RESERVATION; WE STOPPED AT RIVER ROOST FOR SOME PRE-DINNER DRINKS. MY WIFE HAD PINA COLAVA AND I HAD 2 RUM AND COKES. IT WAS THEN TIME FOR OUR 7:45 PM RESERVATION AT BOATWRIGHTS . I ORDERED THE GUMBO , AND FOR MY ENTR…E THE JAMBALYA . MY WIFE ORDERED THE PASTA WITH SHRIMP . WE DID NOT LIKE OUR MEALS, AND ONLY EVEN GAVE IT 2 OUT OF 5 STARS BECAUSE THE SERVICE WAS GREAT (WE GOT OUR MEALS 15 MINUTES AFTER ORDERING). AFTER DINNER, I WAS GOING TO SURPRISE MY WIFE WITH A HORSE & CARRIAGE RIDE AT POR. HOWEVER, MOTHER NATURE WOULD NOT COMPLY. THE BOSS OF THE COMPANY GAVE ME A COURTESY CALL THAT THEY WOULD UNFORTUNATELY, HAVE TO CANCEL IT THAT EVENING DUE TO THE HEAVY RAINS. SO, I RESCHEDULED IT FOR FRIDAY AT 6 PM. AFTER THE CARRIAGE RIDE, WE WERE GOING TO TAKE THE BOAT TO DOWNTOWN DISNEY AND RIDE THE HOT AIR BALLOON. MOTHER NATURE DECIDED NOT TO HAVE THE RAIN STOP, SO THAT WAS CANCELED. WE TOOK THE BUS TO DOWNTOWN DISNEY AND SINCE WE DID NOT FINISH OUR MEALS WE WERE STILL HUNGRY. SO WE STOPPED AT EARL OF SANDWICH AND I HAD A TUNA SANDWICH , AND MY WIFE A BLT . WE BOTH WERE MUCH HAPPIER WITH THE RELATIVELY CHEAP SANDWICHES FROM EARL OF SANDWICH WHICH WE GAVE 3.75 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS; COMPARED TO THE MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE DINNER AT BOATWRIGHTS.

DAY 3 PRE PARK OPENING ADR AT CRYSTAL PALACE AND DAY AT MK NIGHT SUPPOSED TO BE SPENT HAVING DINNER AND WATCHING WISHES AT POLYNESIAN 6/5/2013

WE GOT UP AND HEADED OVER TO MAGIC KINGDOM. WHEN WE WENT DOWN TO THE BUS STOP, THE MK BUS WAS THERE AND WE HAD IT ALL TO OUR SELVES. WE ARRIVED AT MK AT 7:55 AM. WE ENTERED THE PARK SINCE WE HAD PRE PARK OPENING ADR AT CRYSTAL PALACE. OUR ADR WAS FOR 8:30 AM. HOWEVER, AFTER GETTING SOME PICTURES (MY FAVORITE WAS US AT THE ROSE GARDEN) , WE HEADED OVER TO CRYSTAL PALACE TO CHECK IN. WE WERE SEATED BY 8:10 AM. THE CHARACTERS WERE COMING OUT RIGHT AFTER WE GOT SEATED. WE WERE TOLD THAT EEYORE (MY WIFEíS ABSOLUTE FAVORITE CHARACTER) WOULD BE THE LAST ONE VISITING OUR TABLE. WE ASKED TO BE MOVED TO HAVE EEYORE BE THE FIRST CHARACTER WE SAW. THE WAITRESS WAS VERY NICE AND HAD US MOVED. I HAD THE BREAKFAST PIZZA, AN OMELETE, CROISSANT, AND POTATO CASSEROLE. I DO NOT REMEMBER WHAT MY WIFE HAD (SORRY NO PICTURES OF FOOD; WE WERE MORE THERE FOR THE PICTURES WITH EEYORE AND FRIENDS) . DURING OUR MEAL, I STEPPED AWAY FROM OUR TABLE AND ASKED OUR WAITRESS EVEN THOUGH WE HAD ALREADY HAD PICS WITH EEYORE; COULD HE BE THE ONE THAT DELIVERED THE BIRTHDAY CARD PERSONALLY TO MY WIFE? OUR WAITRESS WENT OUT OF HER WAY TO MAKE SURE THIS WOULD HAPPEN. MY WIFE WAS GETTING VERY UPSET AS ALL THE TABLES AROUND US CELEBRATING THEIR BIRTHDAYíS WERE GETTING CARDS AND CUPCAKES. I KEPT TELLING MY WIFE TO BE PATIENT. SURE ENOUGH, AFTER A LITTLE WHILE EEYORE WAS COMING BACK AROUND. OUR WATIRESS WENT AROUND THE SIDE TO HAND EEYORE THE CARD AND CUPCAKE SO MY WIFE COULD NOT SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON. MY WIFE SAID IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT TO HAVE EEYORE PERSONALLY DELIVER HER THE BIRTHDAY CARD AND CUPCAKE . OUR WAITRESS SHERRI ALSO BROUGHT ME A HONEYMOON CARD SO I WOULD NOT BE LEFT OUT. THE FOOD GOT 4 OUT OF 5 STARS. OUR WAITRESS SHERRI GOT 7 OUR OF 5 STARS FOR GOING SO FAR ABOVE AND BEYOND HER WAITRESSING DUTIES FOR US. WE SPENT THE REST OF THE DAY RIDING THE MANY ADVENTURES OF WINNIE THE POOH , THE MAD TEA PARTY CUPS, UNDER THE SEA - THE VOYAGE OF THE LITTLE MERMAID, PEOPLE MOVERíS TOMORROWLAND TRANSIT AUTHORITY , CAROUSEL OF PROGRESS , SPACE MOUNTAIN , ITíS A SMALL WORLD , COUNTRY BEAR JAMBOREE, HALL OF PRESIDENTS, AND THUNDER MOUNTAIN RAILROAD. WE HAD GOTTEN FASTPASSES FOR SPLASH MOUNTAIN. SO WE ARRIVED BACK AT 4:10 AND THE RIDE WAS CLOSED DUE TO TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES. IN BETWEEN ALL OF THESE RIDES WE STOPPED FOR LUNCH AT COLUMBIA HARBOUR HOUSE. I HAD THE CHICKEN NUGGETS PLATTER (THERE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE 8 NUGGETS, BUT THEY ACUTALLY GAVE ME 10) AND THE VEGETARIAN CHILI , AND MY WIFE HAD THE FRIED SHRIMP PLATTER . WE GAVE IT 3.25 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS. IT IS GOOD COUNTER SERVICE FOOD. AT, 4:15 PM THE RAIN STARTED POURING DOWN. WE DECIDED TO GET ON THE TRAIN TO HEAD FROM FRONTIERLAND TO MAIN STREET U.S.A. WE GOT SOAKED WAITING FOR THE TRAIN, AND WHEN WE ARRIVED AT MAIN STREET WE DECIDED TO TAKE THE RESORT MONORAIL TO THE POLYNESIAN TO DRY OFF THEIR WHILE WAITING FOR OUR 7:45 PM RESERVATION AT KONA CAF…. WE BOARDED THE MONORAIL AND THE FIRST STOP WAS THE CONTEMPORARY. WELL, SURE ENOUGH WHEN WE GO TO DEPART THE CONTEMPORARY AT 4:45 PM THERE IS A LOSS OF POWER ON THE BEAMS. SO, AFTER SITTING ON THE MONORAIL UNTIL 5:20, THEN THEY TELL EVERYONE TO GO BOARD A BUS SINCE THE MONORAIL IS NOT WORKING. NOW EVERYONE WAS PISSED AND THERE WAS MASS CONFUSION TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHERE TO GET THE BUS, AND WHICH BUS WOULD BE PICKING US UP. FINALLY AT 6:05 PM WE ARRIVED AT THE POLYNESIAN. WE WARMED UP AND DRIED OFF WITH DRINKS AT THE TAMBU LOUNGE , SINCE WE WERE SO EARLY FOR OUR ADR. MY WIFE HAD A PINA COLAVA, WHILE I HAD 3 RUM AND COKES AND 2 GLASSES OF RIESELING. WE THEN WENT TO KONA CAF… AND WERE SEATED AT 7:20 PM FOR DINNER. WE ORDERED THE LAVA AND CATERPILLER SUSHI ROLLS FOR AN APPETIZER . WE BOTH LIKED THE SUSHI ROLLS. I HAD THE LAMB CHOPS , AND MY WIFE HAD THE SEA SCALLOPS . WE BOTH LIKED OUR MEALS. WE GIVE OUR DINNER AT KONA CAF… 4 OUT OF 5 STARS. AFTER DINNER, I WANTED TO BE ROMANTIC AND SURPRISE MY WIFE BY TAKING HER DOWN TO THE BEACH AT THE POLY AND WATCHING WISHES FROM A HAMMOCK. BUT SINCE WE WERE NOT SURE IF IT WAS GOING TO RAIN AGAIN WE DECIDED TO JUST HEAD BACK TO WILDERNESS LODGE AND WATCH WISHES FROM OUR BALCONY. WE STILL HAD A GOOD TIME WATCHING WISHES.

DAY 4 EPCOT TO YACHT CLUB BACK TO EPCOT 6/6/2013

WHEN WE GOT UP AND LOOKED OUTSIDE IT WAS COMPLETELY DOWNPOURING. WE HEADED TO EPCOT ANYWAY. AT EPCOT, WE RODE SUM OF ALL THRILLS, LIVING WITH THE LAND, SOARIN, MISSION SPACE ORANGE (OUR NOW FAVORITE RIDE AT EPCOT) , AND WENT TO CLUB COOL. THEN, WE HEADED OVER TO WORLD SHOWCASE TO HAVE LUNCH AT VIA NAPOLI. WE SPLIT THE ARANCINI (IT WAS DELICIOUS) . I HAD A WHITE SANGRIA TO DRINK (IT HAS BEEN MY FAVORITE SANGRIA OF THE TRIP SO FAR) . WE ORDERED A LARGE PIZZA WITH MUSHROOMS, ONIONS, AND ANCHOCVIES . WE BOTH LIKED IT. FOR DESERT MY WIFE GOT VANILLA GELATO , AND I ORDERED THE PISTACHIO GELATO . WE BOTH LIKED VIA NAPOLI AND GAVE IT 4 OUT OF 5 STARS. WE WALKED AROUND WORLD SHOWCASE (IT WAS NICE THAT THE CROWDS WERE SMALLER SINCE IT WAS DOWNPOURING ALL DAY). I GOT 2 GRAND MARNIER SLUSHIES , AND A VOUVRAY SAUVION, AND A FROMAGE PLATE WHILE IN FRANCE. WE THEN DECIDED TO HEAD BACK TO WILDERNESS LODGE. AFTER, RELAXING AT WL, WE HEADED OVER TO YACHT CLUB FOR OUR 6 PM RESERVATION AT YACHTSMAN STEAKHOUSE. WE GOT THEIR EXACTLY AT 6 PM AND WERE SEATED IMMEDIATELY. I LOVED HOW YOU COULD SEE THE CUTS OF MEAT AND THE BUTCHER CUTTING THE MEAT THROUGH THE WINDOW. MY WIFE STARTED WITH THE LOBSTER BISQUE . FOR OUR DRINKS, MY WIFE ORDERED A BLUE GLOWTINI AND I ORDERED A GLASS OF RIESLING . FOR OUR ENTREES; MY WIFE ORDERED THE FILET MEDIUM RARE , AND I ORDERED THE NEW YORK STRIP MEDIUM . THEN WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE GIVING US A COMPLIMENTARY DESERT SINCE WE WERE ON OUR HONEYMOON. IT WAS AN ASSORTMENT OF 5 DIFFERENT SMALL DESERTS . WE BOTH THOUGHT THAT WAS REALLY NICE AND LIKED THEM AND REALLY LIKED BEING GIVEN PERSONALIZED MENUS . WE LOVED OUR MEALS AND MY WIFE SAID IT WAS HER FAVORITE MEAL OF THE TRIP (THIS BEING OUR OTHER MUST DO MEAL FROM NOW ON AT DISNEY WORLD). BRANDON WAS AN EXCELLENT WAITER, AND WE BOTH GAVE YACHTSMAN STEAKHOUSE 5 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS. AFTER DINNER, WE TOOK THE BOAT BACK TO EPCOT. NOW THE WEATHER WAS NICER. I GOT ANOTHER VOUVRAY SAUVION IN FRANCE. ORIGINALLY WE WERE GOING TO JUST STAY IN FRANCE AND GET A PLACE TO WATCH ILLUMINATIONS SINCE IT WAS 8 PM, BUT I WANTED A GLASS OF RIESLING. SO, WE HEADED TO GERMANY, AND I GOT THE WHITE WINE RIESLING FLIGHT . THE MIDDLE WETNESS RIESLING WAS MY FAVORITE. I ALSO REALLY LIKED THE WETTEST RIESLING. I DID NOT CARE FOR AS MUCH THOUGH THE DRIEST RIESLING. WE DECIDED TO WATCH ILLUMINATIONS FROM GERMANY AND IT WAS A GREAT SPOT TO WATCH IT FROM . WHEN WE GOT BACK WE FOUND 2 BOWLS OF CHILI IN OUR ROOM . ROB AND MIKE IN WL CLUB LEVEL PUT THEM IN OUR ROOM SINCE WE WERE IN EPCOT WHILE IT WAS BEING SERVED IN OLD FAITHFUL CLUB; SINCE WE REALLY WANTED TO TRY IT (WE THOUGHT IT WAS JUST OK). THANKS TO ALL IN CLUB LEVEL; BUT ESPECIALLY ROB AND MIKE WHO HAVE BEEN SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.

Great pictures! Congratulations on your wedding.

We watched Illuminations from Germany on our last trip in 2011, we had eaten dinner at the Biergarten. It is definitely a great spot and wasn't too crowded.
