Return Flight Time from Fort Lauderdale?

I am pricing flights for my October cruise out of Miami. I have much experience with Port Canaveral but none with Miami. I am wondering if an 11:40am flight out of Fort Lauderdale is possible? There is a sizeable cost difference for the next flight a couple hours later. Thoughts anyone????

We did the 5 night out of Miami for spring break, and my sister and her family had a flight time of 11:30 out of Ft. Lauderdale and made it in plenty of time. They skipped out on breakfast and just headed to the airport, but they had lots of time to spare and probably could have eaten breakfast on the ship and still made it. However, sometimes it takes longer to disembark, so although I wouldn't be opposed to booking an 11:40 flight if it saved quite a bit of money, I would opt to skip out on breakfast and disembark as soon as possible. Although Disney might not recommend it, you would probably be fine. Hope this helps.

Yes, that does help. I did book it. Not only did it save money, it was the only non stop flight that day. Win, win! We will probably skip breakfast. We've done it plenty of times to catch a flight before noon from PC.

Yeah! Nonstop is an added bonus! Enjoy your cruise. We loved sailing out of Miami and are doing the same cruise again next spring break!
