SAB and inner tube question

We've never stayed at the BC before. I know SAB has a lazy river... do you really have to pay for inner tubes?

Thanks,
Cheryl

I have seen many different posts and trip reports that the rental place/gift shop is gone and the tubes are now floating around for anyone to use. I only have this 2nd hand knowledge until we go in November, but there have been multiple comments on this on the BC/YC thread.

We were there in May and the tubes were there for the taking, both in the pool and alongside the edge. I asked a lifeguard if we could just go ahead and use them and he said yes.

I wish they offered some advice for how to get into one without looking as silly as I did.

We were just there and you do not pay for them. You just grab one and can use it. You do not even have to keep it in the lazy river. You can take it to other parts of the pool also (although not all).
